forcefileds and CPU help

Postby Mad Eric on Fri Nov 21, 2003 4:35 am

First off, havent been on this forum in over 3 years, so its good to be back... looks like a great community here.

Overall, love the gameplay, but got a couple of questions that I'm hoping you experts can answer.

1. CPU assist? whats the point of turning this on? will this help me foul the opposition players in the dying seconds of a game if i'm down by a few? I cant ever seem to purposely foul them

2. when i'm advancing the ball, and i hit an opposing player (comes up most often while playing the point), i really seem to bounce off them and fly straight back... what slider is best at reducing this effect? those dudes are bouncing me right off the court sometimes.. leads to lots of unforced turnovers.

Thanks a lot.

1) CPU assist tries to keep the game close. The CPU team will shoot like superstars if you get a lead and you will shoot bricks.

1a) Tap the playcall button for an intentional foul when on defense. This will call a time out on offense.

2) the CPU on ball physical defense slider effects the 'forcefield'. You need to lower this. The Boundary forcefield (global sliders) keeps players from being forced or pushed out of bounds.

Now your PG can actually try to penetrate the lane without being bounced around.
