It's December 2007 in my Cleveland Cavaliers dynasty and I have not lost a single game (although the Nets were close to beating me). I'm using the aug1 roster patch in the rosters section. I've done some trades and here's my lineup:
C: Ben Wallace
PF: Chris Bosh
SF: Le Bron James
SG: Ben Gordon
PG: Gilbert Arenas
6 Dwight Howard
and the rest are players with <75 ratings.
My strategy is simple: L. James is my main scorer (he averages 52ppg in a 3min/quarter), he just penetrates and dunks (coz his outside shooting is terrible). When he's triple-teamed, he passes it to either Gordon or Arenas for a 3pt shot. Bosh and Wallace (and Howard) are there for blocks and rebounds (esp. offensive). However, there are problems.
First, Arenas and Gordon are not always making their outside shots (during the Nets game, they were so cold). Then, Wallace is getting old. And I need useful back ups.
Here are my questions:
1. How could I get Kobe and CP3? I intend to make Kobe my starting SG, CP3 as backup PG. My highest rated player aside from the 6 above is only 75 (a PF), then a bunch of guards 73s and 68.
2. If there's no way I could get Kobe (aside from DBF editing), could you suggest a better, young 3-pt shooter (preferably SG) aside from Gordon?
3. I need a reliable SF backup in case James gets injured. Durant is an option but Oklahoma already has 15 players. But if I get Kobe, a defense-oriented SF w/ an outside touch would be good alternative.
4. I need rebounding and blocking backup for my big men. Could you suggest any young player?
5. New York and Utah are the weakest teams in this season, and I want to get their 1st round draft picks. I tried trading a 73 rated player but they didn't accept it. How could I make them agree to trade their draft picks?
I really need help.. Thanks Guys...[/b]
