Portland, OR - Kobe Bryant scored 64 points as he powered the LA Lakers to a 121-101 win over the Portland Blazers. It was an amazing night for Bryant as he made 66% of his shot and 16 out of 18 from the charity stripe. He also added 5 boards and 3 assists. Brandon Roy, who challenged most of bryant's shots said "He's one the best players to ever play this game. It's like he's in a different zone, in a level of his own." The backcourt of the Blazers took turns in trying to stop bryant, but failed to do so, as they all went into foul troubles early in the game. Bryant said in an interview "Coach wanted me to play more, to be aggressive early in our games' and in the season, then he will try to lessen my playing time after the All Star break to prepare me come playoffs" Pau Gasol added a double-double performance with 14 points and 12 boards while Oj Mayo added 12 points. The Blazers got solid performance from 5 of their players led by rookie Jerryd Bayless with 19 points and 5 assists.

Los Angeles, CA - Kobe Bryant scored 51 points, after scoring 64 in his last game, to help the Lakers beat the San Antonio Spurs 130-89 in a battle of the Western Conference leaders. Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol each scored 14 points, and grab a combined 17 rebounds. Bryant added 7 boards, 4 assists and 6 steals to his all-around performance. The Lakers bench added combined 30 points behind the effort of Navarro, Vujacic and Farmar, as LA never looked back after scoring 62 points to end the 1st half, and scored 68 points on the way to beat the spurs.
Manu Ginobili led the spurs with 21 points and Tim Duncan added 18 points and 10 rebounds. But Tony Praker was held to only 9 points and 6 assists with 9 turnovers which eventually hurt the spurs the entire game.

Los Angeles, CA - Kobe Bryant torched the Mavericks with his unstoppable array of moves, and led the Lakers to a 130-92 win over Dallas. He scored 54 points on the way to his 3rd 50 plus point streak this season. "His game tonight was unbelievable, its not the first time i've seen him do that, but those shots weren't suppose to go in, he's amazing" Jason Kidd said, who scored 36 points but was plagued by fouls in the 3rd quarter. Pau Gasol chipped in 20 points and 10 boards while Andrew Bynum added 14 points and 12 rebounds. The Mavs played without top scorer Dirk Nowitzki, and Josh Howard went scoreless and in foul trouble early in the game.

Salt Lake City, UTA - The LA Lakers once again proved why they are the team to beat in the Western Conference as they prevailed over rival Utah Jazz. Kobe Bryant scored 22 of his 62 points in the extra period, to stop the utah's rally, who outplayed the Lakers in the 4th quarter scoring 30 points and cameback from a 7 point deficit to force the overtime. Bryant added 10 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals, while Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum combined for 38 points and 18 rebounds. "I thought we had the momentum going into the extra 5 minutes, we can match them up with our great execution, but the 21 free throws' from kobe is just too much, c'mon, the ref's got to watch their calls" Deron Williams said, who scored 34 points and dished out 15 assists. Bryant said in an interview "I'll just do what i have to do, to lead this team until we get to our main goal. That's what were paid for, to step up and play in a high level"
Carlos Boozer scored 24 points and 9 rebounds while Kyle Korver added 19 points but fouled out in the 4th quarter trying to defend bryant.

NOTES: It was the 4th time this season Bryant scored 50 plus point. And 1st time to score on a double-double. Deron Williams scored his season-high in assist with 15.

Mayo scored his career-best 25 points together with 4 assists while Bryant added 24 and 5, respectively, as LA cruised to their 14th win against 1 defeat. "There's no doubt of this kids' talent, it's no surprise what he can do. He's quick, strong, and can shoot way out, that's why i call him "The Moneyball" he's like a young gilbert arenas." Bryant said. The lakers have 3 players which scored 20 plus points in the game, as Andrew Bynum added 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Pau Gasol only scored 8 points and 6 boards as he was in foul trouble and fouled out early in the 4th quarter. Dwayne Wade led all scorers with 26 points while their 2nd picked rookie, Michael Beasley, plagued with fouls, scored only 9 points and 5 boards. Another impressive performance was the comebacking 1-time all-star, Jamaal Magloire with 12 points, 11 boards and 6 blocks. Marcus Banks came off the bench to contribute 19 points but had 5 turnovers.
