Problem starting a game

every time i want to start a game the intro screen freezes then crashes. are there any fixes 4 this??

Well, we'll need to find out what the problem is first.

Have you edited the game or installed any new patches lately?

There are 2 reasons that causes it to crash

1. TOO many 2x patches if i were you try to half the resolution of this files
a)cf's
b)armtats
c)legtats
d)courts

if you will be able to do it then you will not have any crashes

2) You are using the illegal version of NBALIVE 2008 many users of the illegal version really encounter that problem..

im using a nba live 08 cd not a illegal one. and i already downloaded fshx but it says i need to download direct something and then i downloaded that but it says i need to put it in my documents and i did this but fshx doesnt work.

never mind. all i had to do was install albys court fix v2 and roster fix.
