A PC Demo would be nice to try it out before buying it. But i doubt it

Finally!!!! Can't wait to try the game!!!!

EA f... us every year, after few games i stoped playing that bull' game called nba live 2008, still i had some hope that they will improve next year in 2009:P hahaha every year same story:), after that----> even worst, they announce that there will be NO nba live 2009 pc and i was stunned! disapointed, because we didn't had any other choice !

NOW with NBA 2K9 PC (x-box 360) port, i can say this is AWESOME !

By the way, saw few trailers and gameplays of the Nba live 2009 around the net and its similar last year s... packed into new cover.

Thank you 2K !

maybe core™2extreme,tri-sli 9800gx2,8gb ram for medium quality

lol :D

anyway, im thankful that i can now try 2k on my pc.. ive been waiting for this because for me, live just got worse startin from 06.. thats just my opinion

You don't need 9800 xxxl:P to run the game, solid graphic card like X1950 Pro would be enough. Second, there will be a graphic setup like in any other pc games so you will choose whats optimal for your system.

2K:---->O EA :P

May be a stupid question! I expect my cheap FX5200 card can handle this game in the lowest resolution setting :-( .

Wed Oct 01, 2008 2:22 am

My pc is intel core 2 duo 1,86 Ghz 2GB ram,7600GT 256 mb.. i think it will be good enough for medium graphics :?

I don't think that card will be able to handle the game even with the lowest settings, that card only have pixel shader 2.0 and must 360 ports require pixel shader 3, and anyway that card was at the bottom of the barrel in one of the worst nvidia line ups 5 years ago. I don't know what computer you have but if the cpu and motherboard aren't that old, and you have pci express you can buy an nvidia 9600 gt or a an ati 4670. Those cards don't require a good power supply and are really cheap.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121274 That card could do the trick for only 80 $.

That computer should be able to output medium graphics, and if you had a better card you will be able to play on high, these are only assumptions based on previous 360 port.

I dont expect the game runs smooth with medium setting below 2core2ghz cpu ,8600 gt gpu ,2 gb ram but with any closing options of animations it changes.
Btw dont expect any gpus below 7 series ever run this carnival.
Here x360 hardware runs2k9:
Ibm 3 core 3,2 ghz cpu
ATI Xenos 500 MHz
512 MB GDDR3 RAM 700 MHz DDR

It depends on the quality of the port I think, for example call of duty 4 on the 360 runs with a native resolution of 1024x600 with textures on medium. Any core duo with a 8600 gt can run the game at max settings with a resolution of 720p.

*drools*

Getting screen caps will never be so fun.

Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:01 am

Well that obviously means that my "grannie" ATI Radeon X300 won't be able to at least run it.. So much for my hopes.

Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:22 am

This things just made me cry a river =))

it'll burn my PC...

anyway, maybe it's worth to burn my PC to play this game

Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:29 am

will GeForce 7600 GT 256mb be good enough for medium graphics?

Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:32 am

Something makes me think that EA will make Live 09 come on PC now also.

Btw, could you exactly tell me, wth is that Xbox or w/e port ? Is it like.. I mean, do you need a XBox for that as well, or it's practically just a dvd/cd as usual ?

Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:39 am

I believe, if I´m not mistaken, game Xbox 360 version of the game is ported into PC version and so you don´t need xbox.

Wed Oct 01, 2008 5:39 am

Joke, yes, i think. I have the same video card, and it is good enough for PES 08(next gen) maximum graphics and fifa 09 demo(maximum too) ;)
