wow.. this project is on a roll i must say..i've been contemplating on making custom gears for some players.. but hardly needed.. i don't think "maporma" ang mga pinoy in terms of accesories.. i could hardly think of anyone really remarkable.. (except for Gary David)goodluck on this project guys..

Thats a good idea, problem is i don't know how to contact them. Anyway, ready mo lang yan files (CFs and portraits only) just in case.

After seeing iris' and hamzie's previews, nagiba na tingin ko sa mod na to. Being a Graphic designer by profession and a former patcher myself, medyo disappointed ako sa mga nakitang kong preview dito dahil may mga nagpapakita ng overused feffects ng mga medyo baguhan pa sa pag gamit ng Photoshop. (No offense naman sa iba dyan, dahil ganun rin ako dati. Dito nga nadevelop skills ko). Pero nung nakita ko yung gawa niyo, mas napabilib na ako. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comment and i really appreciate getting feedbacks from pros. Yes some of our work, medyo overuse yung effects, lalo na pag bago mo lang natutunan yun technique, sarap ulit ulitin . I remember someone mentioned to fix my font. But right now, stick muna ako sa plain text or sometimes with shadow. Si iris, talagang magaling yan. He made a lot of vectors for the pbalive team as well as high quality logos used for the pbalive courts.

Matagal ko nang hinihintay mag post si iris dito. Thanks for the new pba logos. Problem is i don't know where to put them, kasi di pde sa menu selection screen as this is a pba, pbl, lp competition. Anyway can you send me the copy in psd or in png for future use. What i need now are the LOGOS for North Allstar, South Allstar, Rookie Allstar, and Sophomore Allstar. I think Double LC already made the north and south logos but i still have to ask him. BTW, added your pizzahut logo and smart logo for the dorna.

one suggestion though try to make a quality control so that not every patch is included try to pick the best among them or create a team and start meting so it would be more organize. thanks.

Ok this is a semi-pinoy-community-effort mod. There are no official members, so no one would be obligated to do or finish a certain work. Anyone can contribute from graphics, player/team info, and or technical help. Tama ka about setting a meeting to make things organize, pero ayokong ma obliga sila Jenz, Gen, Kris, hingedman, etc. As a partial solution to be organize, i post modupdates as to what are done and updated list of what should be done. About the qulity control, not all submittions are included (including my work). I try to get feedbacks from the community before it will be added to the mod. Kung talagang maganda na, automatic included agad .

To All who submitted some graphics, my apology if not all submittions will be included. It doesn't mean its not good, but sometimes it doesnt fit the theme of the mod. Example theres a Caguioa CF submittion, it was really good but the problem is that i use skin tone 1 to most players and his CF looks darker ingame.

Just made this loading screen this afternoon... check this is out... different approach on loading screen... manila style.... but still, a lot of things to be improved.... heehee.. lack of time and lack of resources....

Nice concept. Napansin ko napakapino ng pagkaka cut ng images. Really nice work. Can you make another version w/c uses red background for red team, blue background for blue team, etc.

Ok I'll try your suggestion. Actually ngayon ko lang napansin since you mentioned it. Si Pingris namumuti sa likod.

About the piracy (where ppl sell the mod in burned CD to earn money), actually i don't mind as long as it is not overpriced. They do help distribute the mod to other people. Meaning more people can enjoy it and modding is all about that...making people enjoy a game in a different experience.

PBALIVE BETA 2008 is just a beta version. Try downloading previous version of PBALIVE or just wait for the release of UPB Mod (coming very soon).

Sorry for double posting...my previous post is too long already.

MODUPDATE:
I have finished converting 7 PBA Arenas to work properly with nbalive2008 and properly assigned to all the 30 teams. I added better lighting for better effect and also fixed the crowd faces. 4 PBA Courts came from Dann, you can check out his site at http://www.pbalive.tk/. These Arenas are the Araneta Coliseum, Asia Pacific, Old Araneta Coliseum, and Phil Sports Arena. These arenas have proper permission from Dann Garcia, so thanks to him for allowing us to use his wonderful courts for the UPB Mod. Another 3 Arenas came from PBALIVE BETA. These courts are the Cuneta Astrodome, Ynarez Center, and Olivarez Center. Now I don't have permission yet from the PBALIVE TEAM to use these 3 courts and i don't exactly know who made them. Its probably made by Dann also or Bokayo. Anyway, i already send PMs to the PBATEAM (to GMAC, 2004, and bokayo) if these 3 courts would be allowed to be added to the mod.

Double LC also told me to include the PBA LEGENDS. It would be really nice to have them, but i really want to release the BETA, so the legends might be added later in a form of mod patche updates.

THINGS TO DO:
- practice jersey home and away for all 30 teams. I will just use simple design so this wont take long to finish.
- North and South AllStar jersey not yet made and also need north, south, rookie, sophomore logos.
- Completing the ROSTER.
- Rookie CFs if needed
- PBL CFs needed for Toyota, Sanmig Coffee, and Pharex.
- Finilizing/Completing the Frontend (menu bars, etc)
- Intro Movie will be added if there is available good pba movie on the net. Quality of Youtube pba movie not to good.
- Sound will be added if i find a good movie, if not both movie and sound wont be added.
ADDITIONS (Optional)
- changing the COACHES CFs and REFEREES CFS.
- changing the DUNKING CONTEST Judges.

It seems that there are practice jerseys included in the PBALIVE BETA so i also asked PBATEAM if we can also include the pba practice jersey as well as the SMB Jersey (formerly magnolia). This files can help a lot and speedup completing the mod.

Ayus na ayus yan. I can't find courts of bokayo at panelo. I don't have any provincial courts, only ynares (antipolo). I believe Dann also made a Cebu Arena, bagay sa Cebu Ninos, but theres no download link for that provincial arena.

Can you send me the practice jersey of cavs23 as well as the provincial Arenas and San Juan Arenas. Can you also help me get permission from them. Minsan di ko alam who to get permission. Thanks for the help.

I can add the numbers, but i can't hexed yet or position them. I just use the nba numbers and edit their color if needed.

So Null17 is a UAAP/NCAA Live member. I also noticed that he have almost 4000 post, so that means he is a veteran patcher here. Its really nice to see other veteran patchers here.

i understand but as a starter of this mod you should take responsibility and be the project manager and organize every contributor.

if your asking what i did contribute here, some of the jersey of the pbl i saw on the preview its my pbl logo they used i know because its not beveled because i didn't finished it. some of the courts logo especially those i help sir bokayo with and sir dan. im happy i helped them. when i saw them finished the court im glad i help them. so feel free to use my works.
