[idea]08/09 Rookies Voice Patch

08/09 Rookies Voice Patch

First , Its not a patch release topic .
I want to suggest a concept , which i have been thinking so long.
It's about making a 08/09 Rookies Voice patch, which let the announcers in the game,MARV ALBERT & Steve Kerr, two guys's voice pronounce these 08/09 rookies' completed Name.
Well, some guy might know that when we play the NBALive08,and use the roster which have included 08/09 rookies, and it seems ok to hear MARV ALBERT pronouces the last name of the rookies.
But when it comes to be the timing when announcers have to pronounce the whole name, here comes the trouble!!
Announcers(MARV ALBERT) will pronounce only the number of players.
Because the rookie has the last name which NBALive08 has included originally.
For example, Derrick Rose , this player is available to let MARV ALBERT pronounce his last name due to the roster which before 08/09 draft has haven the players named 'XXX ROSE',like Quinton Rose & Malik Rose.
But for the rookies is not in the above condition, like Kevin Love or OJ Mayo, their name will be just pronounced as their number, even none of last name.
So I want to give a suggestion to the patchers who interest in this project.
Maybe we can record the sound of the 08/09 NBA games which TNT broadcast to gain the pronunciation of the 08/09 Rookies' names and convert it into the game's file to let us hear MARV ALBERT correctly pronounces in the game instead of numbers.
And the reason that i cant work on this project on my own is that i live in
Taiwan instead of USA , so I cant watch the TNT broadcast.
Maybe sometimes I can download the NBA games from the internet to record the sound to do it , but its too hard for me to work on it, i just want to give this good idea to be one part of NBA Live 09 project , becus i think its one of the most important part of NBA Live game .
Isn't it so weird that you just hear 'NUMBER 32' instead of 'OJ MAYO' when you use him to do a poster dunk???? haha
PS: my English is so so .........forgive me if you native English guys hard to know what i write about.

Your project concept is good but the only problem is we dont have the tool or program to make the recorded files into ea's speech files .. There was once a tool for that but it was mainly made for nbalive 2006.

I thought we were going to wait for 09 on the PS2 and snatch the rookie speech files from it and convert them over to PC. Much less work needed.

Well~~ I come from Taiwan , so I also know whats the topic which DickyJordan
gave were talking about,
"这个 添加录音的方法 我们已经掌握 只是 找不到合适的人去录 这个声音"
"We've got the method to open the speech files"
maybe DickyJordan or I can contact the guy to know whats he did really mean.
If he really know how to add the additional speech file into the game ,
maybe we can cooperate the patchers of NLSC and the chinese fourm,
becuz whats he meant is they don't know where to record the speech sound,
but i think US guys have more resources to get the sound( broadcast....
original english channels.... ).

speech files, but we have not find some good record to use!"
