Laddas Bucks Dynasty

Postby Boyk on Mon Oct 27, 2003 12:04 am

After Days of thinking which team i should go, ive chosen the Bucks.
I was thinking Denver,Bucks or Detroit.

Ive decided to go the Bucks.
A team which looks to struggle should make a good challenge.
Ill lineup with:

Pg: TJ Ford
Sg: Michael Redd
Sf: Desmond Mason
Pf: Tim Thomas
C: Dan Gadzuric

If Tim keeps getting dominated in the post(which he prolly will) Ill put him on the lbock and look to trade for sum1 like Al Harrington and a pick or something.
Well it wont start till i get the game, which is like 2 weeks away(pc version) but i thought i'd start the thread already.

I think that you should have Joel Pryzbilla as the starting Center, so Gadzuric can come off the bench. But that'z just my opinion.

Im playing on All-Star.

I lost to the Bulls 125-113 with Jamal Crawford going for 29 and Tyson Chandler posting 28pnts 18rebs 6stls 5blks.
Redd was tops for the team with 35pnts 5stls 7rebs.

We headed off to Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks, in which we posted our second win of the season. 105-99
Michael Redd continued to score scoring 28 points on 11-19 shooting.
Desmond Mason suffered a slight back injury early in the game(THANK YOU EA!!!!) but was able to return to post solid numbers of 18pnts 7rebs off the bench.
This game saw each team put up 100+ shots and turn it over 30 times each and rebound 60+ each.

wot are some good sliders?? coz im seeing a lot of shots in my games, from the computer! which leads to a lot of rebounds!

anyway, i will post sum stats later.
from memory Redd is getting 25+ppg and leads the league in steals with 3 a game.
Marcus Haislip is a Giant Athlete and is leadign the league in blocks off the bench with 6 per game thus far.

Bucks get demolished at home by the Sonics 141-98. Rashard Lewis put up 58pnts in this one backed by Flip Murray with 16pnts.
This was quite dissapointing this game a disgrace to watch.
Thomas was the only one who really played well, scoring 21pnts and grabbing 8rebs.
The team seemed to be a bit slow in this game and looked fatigued so after the game i assigned a Conditioning coach for the next game vs Utah, and it works.

Heading into Utah refreshed and amped up for a big win, we came up short!! falling to the Music 100-96.
Joe Smith was great with 19pnts 10rebs 9blks a almost triple-double!!
Michael Redd had 22pnts but shot poorly 6-22.
Desmond Mason continues his great play from the bench scoring 19pnts and Tim Thomas continues his impressive solid play posting 17pnts 11rebs 5asts.

we are now 2-3 and face the 4-1 Hawks next! 4-1!! lol

Cool franchise :). But where'd my hustle man go, brian skinner?

And yeah I started a Mavs 'chise just to see if the C's would take Walker for LaFrentz (which they didn't in the game...weird lol) and the Hawks were 4-1 as well! lol

WOOOOOOOOO!!
What a game!!!
Hawks controlled the game all throughout with a commanding 58-41 lead at the half.
Michael Redd turned it up majorly though! scoring 37 points i nthe second half including a 22 point haul in the 4th!
anyway, with 23 secs left, we were down by 1 and i dumped it into tim thomas who drew the double imediately(he had 22pnts on 11-14 shooting for the game, quite smart from the ai :) ) he dished out t oa wide-open Redd for three!!!! its good!!!!!
18secs left and they rush it down the court, and dump it into Reff, he hits a tough leaner to tie it at 115 a piece.
12 seconds left, TJ Ford dribbles down to 8secs, drives, dishes out to Redd, fakes a three, dribbles and puts up a leaner from 17.............HITS!! with .9 of a second left.
Bucks pick up there third win of the season, 3-3 now.
Redd finished with 49pnts 7rebs 18-34FG's 8-15 threes, setting team records in each category.
Desmond Mason continued to play superb ball off the bench, posting 22pnts 4rebs 8asts! in 34 minutes.

Bucks fall to the Nuggets 125-101.
Andre Miller,Carmelo Anthony and Dermarr Johnson were in control all game for the nuggs.
Melo taking pog honours with 36pnts 5rebs, dre miller had 12pnts 12asts 4rebs, Dermarr 29pnts 8rebs.
for the Bucks Tim Thomas lead the team with 26pnts on 11-25 shooting.
Mason had 20pnts 7rebs in 33mins but was 8-25 shooting
Redd was quiet but struggled wit hthe taller dermarr johnson d-ing him up, he finished with 16pnts 3rebs 2asts on 7-18 shooting, and a miserable 1-10 from downtown.
TJ Ford was solid as usual with 14pnts 4rebs 4asts 0TO's.
3-4 Raptors next, Bucks are also 3-4, so both teams willfight hard for the win to get to .500%

Bucks pick up a 122-118 win over the Raptors to even there record to 4-4 and 1-1 on there 5 game road trip.
TJ Ford played a great game with 17pnts 7asts.
Michael Redd picked up pog honours with 29pnts 3rebs 2asts but hit a huge three down the stretch with the shot clock winding down :)

Boston Next, im thinking of starting Mason to stick him on Pierce.

how do you score with ford? i have him on my bench (playing the cavs), he misses normal field goals, and under the basket he always gets blocked, he's only good at free throws and on fast breaks (rating 59, 2nd season)

lol penetrating, free throws and hitting his open shots, hes rated like 50fg's for me now, been working on him with a shooting coach.

but anyway he went 2-10 for 6 pnts today in my loss to the 1-5 Celtics.
Pierce killed me going for 41pnts 4rebs 4asts.
we lost 120-114.
Redd and Mason each had 25 to top score and Tim Thomas had 20pnts 10rebs 7asts 4blks but shot 6-21 from the field.Ford finished with 6pnts 9asts 2stls.

Redd also had a career high 9 rebounds.
im now 4-5 and face the Nets next.

Tracy Mcgrady got East player of the month and Shaquille Oneal took out the West.
Lebron and Carmelo took rookie honours.

Well not much to say about my Game agaisnt the Nets.
Kidd had 31pnts 14asts 11rebs the first time the AI has posted a triple double on me since i started playing basketball games!!

we got slaughtered 122-87 and now drop to 4-6.
Tim Thomas was the only good thing, scoring 18pnts 8rebs 4asts.

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!
What a Trade!
dropping to 4-6 and we really do have no inside option.
So GM Laddas went to work and traded for a beast!

Joe Smith and Danny Fortson for Zach Randolph!
:D
thats right.

New Bucks Lineup:
C: Marcus Haislip
Pf: Zach Randolph
Sf: Tim Thomas
Sg: Michael Redd
Pg: TJ Ford

6th Man: Desmond Mason.

Bucks suffer 3rd loss in a row to the Blazers.
107-127 was the final score and hurts the bucks playoffs chance, as we now sit dead bottom on the Ladder, in our division.
Desmond Mason is playing on a different level at the moment, and its all of the bench. He had 26pnts 7rebs 4asts 3stls on 10-14 shooting.
Redd had 24pnts and on Debut big Zach had a Double-Double with 13pnts 14rebs.

WOOOOOOO!
Bucks pick up a huge win over the Pistons.
now move to 5-7 and if we can play the way e did this game we'll dominate.
Michael Redd had 33pnts on 12-17 shooting, but it was Zach Randolph's 29pnts 15rebs 6asts 3stls pog performance that made it a great site to watch.
130-117.
Damon Jones came from nowhere to score 28pnts 5rebs 5asts off the bench.

Desmond Mason got injured in the game, and didnt return but is ok, he had 6pnts 7rebs in a quick 13min stint.
Dan Gadzuric who had his first start, got injured also and was out for the game, but wont need t sit out. he had 3rebs 2blks in 19mins.

We start with Gadzuric,Randolph,Thomas,Redd,Ford.

Nice trade (y), but this year im kinda thinking of trying to make some realistic trades with my franchise, take your trade for example, rating wise the cpu allows this yeah, but irl the blazers would never, and i mean never ever complete this trade, randolph is the future of the team and want him to be their cornerstone, u should have traded them for sheed :D , who is probably way overrated in this game cuz this year his averages arent what they should be imo, or it could just be almost every basketball analyst only sees the potential of sheed but dont realise he aint gonna become that player he could be(not yet). Just my view on the trade :)

yer it was one sided, but hey, i needed something.

anyway my most recent game was against the Spurs at the SBC centre.
the best part was near the end of the 4th where i was down 4, 112-116 and Jones once again was playing very bloody well off the bench, i put up a desperation leaner from three, and was fouled................and the shot was good!!!!
Jones sunk the FT to tie it and into OT it went.
Well OT was one sided by the Bucks and we picked up our 6th win 138-125 OT.
Michael Redd had 36pnts and Damon Jones for the 2nd consecutive time, posted 28 points. Hes great on the game.
Zach Randolph and Tim Duncan had a great battle, but big Zac came out on top scoring 20 and grabbing 13 boards.
TD had 18pnts 11rebs.

6-7 we go now, and into 2004, where we face the Dallas Mavericks on the 2nd of january.
Paul Pierce was named East Player of the Month, Stephon Marbury for the West, and Lebron and Melo Rookie honours once again.

Bucks go down to the Mavericks 131-126. man so many high scoring games!!!!!
Despite a Career High 59pnts 13-20 threes from Michael Redd the Bucks went down to Finley and the Mavs.
Finley lead the team with 33pnts 9rebs 7asts.
Dirk had 21pnts 11rebs.

6-8 now at the halfway point, and sitting 10th in the East, really need to get something together and start winning!!

Bucks pickup a dominating win in Washington, 133-110.
In a game which saw every playr score and every player but Skinner get an assist and every player but Caffey got a rebound.
Michael Redd paced us with 21pnts while Tim Thomas had 20pnts 7rebs 7asts.
Dan Gadzuric had only 3pnts but 9rebs 7blks 5asts.
Damon Jones again impressed with 18 and TJ had 14pnts 6rebs 4asts.

Michael Redd is averaging 28.4ppg which is good for 2nd-T
Tim Thomas is having a CAREER year :D
18.3ppg 7.5rpg 2.7apg 46% from the field 92% from the Ft line.
Mason is 17.4ppg 4.7rpg 2.5apg 1.1spg in 29.0mpg with 2 starts.

Next game is the Phoenix Suns

The Suns game started off looking like an embarresment(spelling).
Being down 68-48 at the half the Bucks were faced with an up-hill battle.
With Redd scoring just 4pnts on 2-11 shooting in the half and Tim Bug alos only scoring 4 it was not gonna be easy.
the 3rd quarter we managed to cut it to a 12 point game.

The last qaurter we made a slow comeback lead by Redd who scored 21 in the 2nd half. scores were 114-117 Suns way with 10secs left, so i run a screen 3pnt for Red, he fires, but it bricks and Gadzuric Rebounds but gets blocked on his shot attempt, ball goes out of bounds, 1.8secs left.
Inbound to Jones and he fires a three with Marbury in his face...........Clunk! no good and the Bucks fall at home to the Suns.

Starbury destroyed us scoring 28pnts dishing 18asts and grabbing 9 boards.
Redd lead the Bucks with 25pnts 5rebs 5asts 4stls.
Randolph had 20pnts 17rebs, he has averaged 20.9ppg 13.4rpg since joining us.
