HELP

Postby DahLollipop on Sat Sep 13, 2008 11:51 am

i don't recall doing anything BIG.. but all of a sudden, when i quit my season, my game crashes and says something about a "player.dbf" file.. then after that incident, i've been able to play a game but as soon as the coach calls a time out, the game crashes

I'll need a bit more info than that. Did the error message refer to the player.dbf file in the WORKINGDB folder? Also, did you edit the files yourself? If the latter, I'd suggest starting again with a fresh copy of the update.

Dear All,
I've the same problem when a coach calls a time out.
I red about a 'coach patch crash-o-matic': do you think that it can help me? If yes, where can I find it?
Thanks for your help.

Nothing the NLSC update does would cause a crash during a timeout. Are you using a No CD patch?

Well, that's the cause of the timeout crash.

Sure is. Don't use a No CD patch.

The No CD patch is what causes the timeout crash in NBA Live 08. If you want to resolve the problem, don't use a No CD patch with NBA Live 08. That's the only way to fix it.
