2nd quarter problem

i would like to ask why when me and my cousin played nba live 2008 via LAN,after the tip both of us get the error message disconnected and a prompt w/a quit game or continue cs CPU

That would be a first quarter problem. The easiest way would be ot make sure you both have the exact same installation files. That means make sure both of you have the exact same patches installed, or none at all. Any graphic patch in the sgsm directory should not cause a disconnection, but once you change an original game file, such as the AIACT or camera file, both computers need to have the exact same patches.
