I usually enjoy Nuggets games. I like a defensive battle as much as the next person but I also have an appreciation for the high-octane offense. If they run with a lineup of AI, Melo, Martin, Camby and Smith it usually makes for a fun high scoring game.

Did you guys from Australia get to watch an extensive amount of Milwaukee games because of Bogut?
If yes, will Nathan Jawai do the same for coverage?

Yes, they generally pick up a fair amount of Bucks games. I don't think Nathan Jawai is going to have the same impact though.

If Nathan Jawai ends up being picked at the first round, as predicted. Then he'll likely wind up on a good team. So we should still end up seeing a fair bit of whoever he plays for, whether he gets on the court though...

I doubt it would lead to more exposure for the team though.

He is the next Dwight Howard, though.

Then again, the current Dwight Howard doesnt get all that much exposure here either.

I dont remember many bucks games this year.... the novelty has definitely worn off.

Jawai also isn't white and wasn't picked #1 - he is unlikely to generate any coverage

Australia isn't america; aboriginal athletes get more exposure then white ones. Look at Cathy Freeman...

i doubt he'll get much coverage, i mean Newly got drafted by Houston and it didn't make an inch of News, even if it was like the 57th pick...

But i do like Jawai. He's a beast :bday:

Not quite as many as his first two seasons in the league but there was still a handful including a Bucks/Clippers game.

Bogut had a pretty strong game if I recall correctly. I believe I've still got that one on tape.

That rings a bell. In any case, I believe he ended up with a pretty good line on the night.

I noticed it too late yesterday afternoon but I caught the replay at 10:30. It's a shame coverage of the tournament at the Olympics will probably be scarce.

Yeah it definitely will be. We might get some Aussie games, but why would Channel & broadcast Team USA games? If we make the Quarter Finals we could play Team USA and that might be broadcasted. I think our best bet is to download the games if you really wanna watch em.

Im pretty happy with these 6 games though

Btw how sweet was Wade's windmill

Fuck the windmill, Paul's behind the back-fakepass-layup to end the 2nd or 3rd Q was amazing!

We just got that new Foxtel IQ2 HD+ and it has ESPN HD and i was just wondering if you guys think it's possible that because ESPN HD doesn't always show the same stuff as normal ESPN (Most of the time it's different actually), do you reckon they'll show the double headers on ESPN HD, unlike ESPN where we only get 1 of the 2 games...?

I reckon it's a possibility as they're showing heaps of different stuff on there cause obviously they can only show HD stuff on there and the basketball is in HD...

Ima remain optimistic... :o

I guess it's possible. It'd be awfully tempting to upgrade to HD if they did and I can find the means.

I upgraded to it a week or so ago as well. It looks phenomenal, I'd love to see some NBA games on it.

What kind of TV do you have? With the one I've got, HD is kind of a waste but extra/alternate programming remains tempting.
