I have a question.I'm planning to buy a Playstation 3 along with a big LCD Monitor to experience the ultimate home gaming. So my question is will PS3 work on an LCD Monitor or it only works on LCD TVs??

I know it works with the XBOX 360 with the VGA HD Cable. That's what I do.
But I don't know if it's possible with the PS3.

You can buy it seperatly. This is what it looks like:

You should google if it's possible with a similar cable for the PS3

You would need to make sure the monitor has a DVI input (most new ones do) and then you would need something like this. HDMI to DVI.

I have never tried it but I guess it would work.

Your PS3 will output Blu-Ray to whatever you hook it up to.

I believe Blu-Ray movies are 1920x1080, which is larger than most monitors, so it will likely be downscaled.

I'm looking forward to buy a 25,5'' Samsung. It says the maximum resulution is 1920-1200.Will that solve the problem??

By the way, it has both DVI and HDMI inputs. It costs 631 dolars and if you translate it to turkish lira and add the KDV(an horrible tax system) it costs 890 YTLs.I'll give the link if you want to look.
