why cant i perform a freestyle crossover with a keyboad... when i hold and press the crossover/spin move + direction it wont do any crossover moves like in the ps2... it only works in the hesitation move fakes but not when im dribbling the ball and atempt to do a freestyle crossover.. :?: pls help.. does it mean that i should have a dual analog stick controlers?

It does work for me with the default setting, but the whole freestyle thing seems to be bugged for keyboard.

The main problem for me (and some other guys I know) is that your player turns around a dribbles either across the side of the court out of bounds or back into it's own half for a backcourt violation.
It NEVER EVER does it right, no matter which direction I use.

I love the game, but it really starts p*ssing me off that EA can't make games less complicated for keyboard users. I aint gonna buy a special controler for one single game. (Bought so many of that crap over the years and they all broke down so quickly).

Rork, you could get a PS2 controller converter for the pc. Its called the Super PS Joy, costs 16 bucks and EA already has a profile set up for it...

You can do crossover by using keyboard, depends on which key you have assigned. Tap the key for crossover and press for spin move.

I suggest you to buy gamepad, as it really helps to improve your game.
I am still winless but the margin is getting closer, by using gamepad.
