Bug List

Are you still allowed to inbound pass into the backcourt from a side out of bounds? I could have sworn this was the rule unless it has been changed this year. If you are allowed to then this is bugged because it calls a backcourt violation if you do so.

I thought you could pass into the backcourt from the frontcourt on an inbound all the time? I keep getting called backcourt violation for that. Seems like a bug to me.

here is a big bug no one mentioned -

When a player goes in the bucket and gets fouled and injured at the same time, he will be replaced by another player to shoot his free throws,, in a real nba game, when another player shoots ur freethrows, u cannot get back in the game,, but in nba live 2k4, the player returns and plays!!!

Hey, good call. Now that I think about it, this may have happened to me too. I say "may", because I remember another guy coming in to take shots for a player on the other team, and I have yet to see an injury where a guy did not come back in (pretty sure).

hell i couldnt install i gotta take it back monday, cause it crases when i try to install! I'm really pissed.

The opposing player was called for a charge. So my player was about to inbound the ball but then my imbounder was called for a foul and next thing that happens is that the opposing team is now inbounding the ball.

THe announcers still calls your plays w/ names from the other team. sometimes you get weird calls.. I think this got fixed w/ nba live 2003, but it's back. just like in the old nba live games

Here's another weird bug:

I can confirm that. I think that has happened in conjunction with my charge/basket counts problems, it's just it flashed by so fast and so many bugs happened at once, I couldn't tell.

I don't know if this is a bug or design flaw, but I've noticed that if someone is at the line, the CPU will sub players after the last freethrow and not in-between freethrows.

umm for some reason my opponents never ever sub...i have all the settings on the right ones but there guys always play out the entire game anyone know how to solve that one???

it depends.....how many minute quarters do you play? because if you only play like 5 minute quarters, the players might not be getting tired enough

The EA developers mixed up the NBA with the NCAA.

FREE THROW BUGS.......my player was fouled in the act of shooting and naturally he was awarded to take free throws. At the foul line the computer controlled my player to take the shots...weird....fortunately the shots went in...but there was this one time wherein both charities were muffed...

This happened to me too, but I think the reason why this happened was an accidental player switch (which I removed from my gamepad button)

Well, like previous editions, if the PC is standing right on or a bit over the line, it will still be three points. I don't mind this, since it's sometimes hard to get behind the line (especially in the corners). However, it seems that my player doesn't have this luxury.

commenery is screwed up this year marv gets confused a lot like he says other players name when i am the one that scores and also playing with sacremento and leading at half they say sacramento has been making their shots while i was winning by 16 points...this years live buggier then 2003

Has anyone else had a problem where you have to take the CD out of it's it's drive and put it back in before playing again?

I have this with Madden 04 where if I play the game then quit and go on the internet I can't go straight back into the game, I have to press eject then push the drive back in for it to work. Weird, eh

another bug guys, u scored a point but when you look at the scoreboard, it doesn't count, happened to me all the time...

Here's a solution to go the "AAAAAAAAA" problem: Turn lighting in the game completely off.

There's another one I noticed, but only while playing online: Whenever you shoot free throws and it says "Years Pro" it always says "R" which obviously means Rookie.

When the ball is loose near the sideline, the CPU dives to get it...
when the CPU got the ball, just before he slide out of bounds, he calls a timeout.... and then they get to inbound the ball!!!
In real NBA game, both of your feet must be touching the ground before you can call a time out..... That's a minor bug, but still.....

Another one would be the training.... I just don't get it.... If you train, your rating can't go down.... It is impossible.... I think it is a bug....

Sometimes the CPU is just plainly dumb... When they inbound the ball, you can stand in front of the point guard hammering the steal button and the CPU will still pass the ball to the point guard and you will get a steal from that.... again.....

Ok , I just had the most fucked up thing happen. Im playing my franchise and I decide to quit. I hit the X in the upper right hand corner. Anyways, I waited about 5 mins and the game didnt quit , the mouse was also frozen , so I restarted teh comp. When I went back to play my franchise file had been fucked up. The save name is just a bunch of random letters and year was like 41/05/1245 . I cant play that franchise anymore and NBA LIVE just keeps crashing on me now. Looks like ill have to reinstall. :evil:

Anyone notice that the length of the instant replay changes? Shots made at the end of the quarter seem to have shorter instant replays.
