No Fast Break?

Does anyone else notice that when you are on a fast break, if you try to pass the ball to someone ahead of everyone, the player you are passing to will stop and wait until the ball comes to them they get the ball? This causes the defense a lot of time to come back. I doubt it, but is there any way to fix that?

this happens to me 50% of da time.. i try to do shorter passes.. really long passes tend to make the player stop and wait.. and also wut works is.. for example
you snatch a quick outlet from a short pass.. your start runnin then use the direct pass button and get sum1 else to run the lanes and u do a clear pass while runnin towards basket and you will have a fast break
i've gotten like 10 baskets on fastbreaks in 6 mins quarters/all-star lvl with game speed slow down to 50 in slider..

it takes a bit of skill and time.. it doesnt' work all da time.. if it did.. i fink it'll get kinda unrealistic..

Wait for the Defender to get near you on the fast break then head towards him then spin him off I like doing that its so......RUDE
