i found a way for the cpu to take jumpshots

Sat Nov 15, 2003 8:26 pm

DKs idea actually. you just change the cpu statergy to something else than dynamic. I works great  A lot of mid rage jumpers

Sun Nov 16, 2003 12:05 am

I will try that now ! But doesn't it suck to change it in front of every game ! Would be great if the setup could be saved ! Maybe it works... gonna try it...

Sun Nov 16, 2003 12:12 am

i'll check that too...

@showstopper496

I changed the offensiv strategy from 'dynamic' to something else... It worked better with shots from mid-range! But still not the way I'd like to see ! The CPU is still taking tough shots.... but I want to see them taking easy shots... using a block and bingo !!!!!!!! Can you tell me how to do it...? On which difficulty did you play and do I have to change the strategy to something special or just everything but 'dynamic'

Thanks...

DK? Where are you my man? If you recall I worked with you on Live2k3, but we both gave up on the game after numerous experiments and alterations yielded much improved but utimately lacking results in relation to realism. My old moniker was Toni Starks.

Listen, touch base with me when you can. I feel we can work wonders for this game if we put our heads together. Just post a reply bud. Later..

I have my CPU taking jumpshots. You have to change the Shot Frequency to a higher number and the dunk\layup frequency to a lower number. Works like a champ!

Sun Nov 16, 2003 4:51 am

yea the shot frequency thing works...also changing their plays seems to make them fastbreak a little less

Sun Nov 16, 2003 5:01 am

shot frequency? i dont see hat...do u mean the adjusted shot frequency???]

and dunk\layup frequency ???? i just see dunk frequency....then there is dunk/layup ability

Sun Nov 16, 2003 5:35 am

yea turn dunk/layup frequency to like 19

Sun Nov 16, 2003 5:44 am

you're right ! I can't see this categories, too...

Once again... my cpu is taking jump-shots from midrange ! But no solid jumpshot but tough ones ! I also changes the strategy but it didn't work. the consequence of this was that now the cpu power forwards dribble without passing and hold the ball til the shotclock is dead...

---???---

hope there is another solution!
