I'm still working on the tat but here is the first preview to my Kobe face. EA's was horrible so I hope this is an improvement. Let me know what you think

Welcome back LBM...It looks good so far try to make it more defined, keep working at it  ...I know its going to be great like all your other patches (Y)

Is there a beye file to change his eyeball white? Looks like he's high.

Nice cyberface though.

Here is the first preview to my LeBron James patch. His face was ok in the game already but I just chose this since I had some more images of him to work with. Let me know what you think. BTW that Kobe is still being worked on.

they look great. on kobe, maybe you should fix the upper lip, i can't really see it. on lebron, the nose is a little blurry. fix those and they should be set for release.

btw, about the eyes. i'd like to know how to fix them too, but until someone finds a solution or makes a patch, we have to stick to EA's dopey eyes.

I like these patches, Kobe needs work though, LeBron is cool but a bit too blurry, try to sharpen the face. And yeh, I have to agree about those eyes :D But it's not your fault ;)

Here is an update to my LeBron and Kobe Patches. I'm still working on LeBrons Nose but other than that the other changes I made to it should make it releasable. Is this Kobe an improvement over my previous one?

Lebron Face is too shady (meaning there are to many shadows on his face that take away from detail)...I think EA's Lebron was surprisingly well done....good effort though...Maybe you can work on a hair patch for Lebron making his hair cut look sharper for those who want to get rid of his headband from time to time (In your 2003 patches...the hair was always good and sharp)...Oh you should convert your J.R. Bremer patch to 2004 it was one of the most well done patches in terms of texture and quality I had ever seen  ...please convert all your patches i you can.

The Kobe face I'm not feeling at all (sorry  ), I think there is to much going on his face..... texture is good but adding to much really takes away from the patch.....his face needs to be more defined, not more texture...its kind of messy as of now....its your first attempt...so its cool...I know when you get back into your patching groove...you'll be good...Keep working at it....because your patches are always hot (Y)

P.S. Focus in on players that really need cyberface...(kobe, T-mac, Kidd and other non superstars....there are alot of them that need new ones

Since you guys aren't feeling my Kobe, thats cool, Here is my first preview of Devean George. I touched up the hair a little, but what do you think about the face?

Too light and color dodged, do you think you could do me a favor LBM? I don't have Live yet and I was wondering if you could send me a FSH file of Nick Van Exel or Kobe or someone?

I just did a quick conversion of my 2003 J.R. Bremer. EA didn't even have a face for him. Tell me what you think

I think it looks good. The mouth looks a little small compared to the nose though. :-/

(Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) .....I told you...it would be great if you converted it...take a screen with a headband on him...its perfect convert the rest...especially...Richard Jefferson (fix his skin color I remember it was kind of orangey) great none the less....feeling that Bremer...oh and Willy Green...

Sun Nov 16, 2003 7:05 am

this Bremer is gr8...

Sun Nov 16, 2003 10:26 am

Here's my last and final stab at Kobe, I believe this is the best I can get. I'm gonna try and convert my Korver and RJ and start over on Willie Green because I lost the file for him.

Its pretty good (Y) ...So put the Kobe and Bremer out for download

Sun Nov 16, 2003 10:41 am

Did you use his mugshot pic to make the patch?

Sun Nov 16, 2003 11:30 am

yep used the mugshot pic. BTW the Kobe and Bremer are now available to download on my site

Sun Nov 16, 2003 12:54 pm

Is there any way you could post instructions on how to install the faces?

Sun Nov 16, 2003 3:49 pm

the kobe looks good now..i didn't like it before but you improved it. The only qualm is the size of the nostrils but it doesn't really matter much.

whoa... nice bremer you've got here... therefore, i ain't gon release mine ;) (Y)

Well there are two ways you can install the faces. You can change the customart value to 1 in the main\cscripts\xstartup.cfg and then just place the fsh file in the render\xplayer\ folder inside a folder with the same name of the fsh. example: render\xplayer\kobryan\kobryan.fsh for Kobe. What I do is actually import the fsh into the viv file because this makes the game load and play alot quicker. You first need to download eagraph and vivmagic. You must use vivmagic to extract the files from the xplayer.viv file located in the render folder. from there open the player viv file from the render\xplayer folder, example: open kobryan.viv for Kobe using eagraph. then import the fsh you downloaded into the viv file. from there just repack the files and then your done. Hope this helps a little

Is there a step-by-step instruction for dummies (such as myself) to import those viv files using vivmagic?

I know you just wrote a quickie tutorial, but can you be a little bit more specific on where to click and etc?

Any info would be greatly appreciated, not just by me, but I'm sure a lot others too!

Cheers...

Darken out some of the shine on Bremer's face then it will be perfect. (Y)

ReyJ is right, Vivmagic is new to most people. Someone should make a little how to on this.

Edit: Now that i actually looked at Vivmagic, there is not much more to it but what he explained above.................... THANK
