I need some serious help...

well alot of patches i've been downloading haven't been taking effect on my game and i think it has to do with the way my sgsm is set up...

i have a sgsm folder located at desktop\NBA08\sgsm ( i know its probly unusual to have that folder on my desktop, i didnt know where to put it tho) it had all my sub folders (all star, coach, crowd, players, uniforms, etc..) but usually has no effect when i put patches in it

i have another one located at desktop\NBA08\NBA LIVE 08\sgsm but i dont have many patches in there, but i have the injured reserve fix (player rotation screen) in there, which works, but i also have the salary info trade players screen patch in the same folder, but it doesn't work.

the third folder i have is located where most ppl on these forums, C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 08\sgsm. But in this folder i have no sub folders like the ones i mentioned above, so when i try to apply a patch regarding uniforms or courts theres nothing there to save over/replace.

So if anyone can understand this mess and tell me how i can fix this so that i can enjoy some of the great patches you guys are making that would be excellent... thank you

here you go type this in C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 08
then click on sgsm folder and it shuld work

well assuming that you meant place the patches in that folder, i did just that and in doing so my nba live wont even open.... idk what i did wrong lol what should i do now?

i put the subfolders like the players, uniforms, courts, etc..., from the desktop\nba 08\nba live 08\ sgsm folder into that folder was that a bad idea?

the reason there not working cuz its a custom folder not programed to nba live 08 lol

That's really weird. Did you move the subfolders from C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA Live 08\sgsm to the one on your desktop?

I suggest reinstalling, that is a strange mess you have.

haha yeah actually it is a torrent to be honest maybe thats why lol my bad i guess i should see if i can reinstall it if that doesnt work ill stop being a cheap sake and go buy it haha
