I love the whole anti-discount-store mindset. It really is terrible to save money. (And use commas apparently.)

Marshall isn't bad actually. The one near my town actually had like jerseys and stuff, authentic too. Too bad they don't stock them anymore, but still have pretty good clothing.

They, like all those stores of its type, get the dumps from "actual" stores, where they dump all the stuff they couldn't sell onto the market at lower cost just to get something for them. It is the same concept as "clearance" but on a larger scale.

TJ Maxx is basically the same store, and once I went in there and they had like 50 Darko Milicic Pistons jerseys after he got traded.

Kohl's also operates this way, although they have a higher amount of "first run" stuff than Marshalls.

Ohhh those are some kickass logos. (Y)

If only they stripped the 'City' in the team name. :x

Some decent concepts there. The Barons logo looks more appropriate for a team called the Bandits though.

looks like the name will be Thunder.

when the nba was putting up the new schedules, they accidentally named some of the links 'Thunder' for the OKC team...its been changed since then, so they figured out their error, but not soon enuff ;)

also, there's been some speculation about brown and sage green being used and possibly a bison somehow....this is all rumors, but i wouldnt mind seeing a logo with a brown bison and sage green wordmark.

I saw that too, seems the early reports of "Thunder" being chosen will turn out to be accurate.

ehh. a little too NBDLish of a name, a little too WNBA of a jersey. i'm sure after a few seasons the name will stick.

whatever they want to call themselves, i just want to see gp and kemp retired as sonics, with sonic jerseys, in seattle. not as thunder players. open up key arena for a few hours, have a nice ceremony, and hang up the jerseys in the rafters in Seattle and in Oklahoma City.

I don't think they should retire Kemp and GP here in Oklahoma(i moved from Connecticut in 2003) because they didn't play here. It's Seattle's responsibility and put their money where their mouth is and build a new stadium so they can get the Sonics back.

As far as those logos and jersey designs..ON POINT!!! I would be very happy to wear that jersey around town!!!

Based on comments that Gary Payton made earlier this year, he'd probably decline to be a part of any retirement ceremony that took place in Oklahoma City.

From a guy who likes jerseys, I seriously hope every jersey here is made for Live. lol. They all look cool! I don't care what the team name will be; just make 'em! haha!

A settlement has been reached, nothing much in the way of new developments though. As previous articles have mentioned, all the banners and trophies will remain in Seattle but Oklahoma City may make copies and borrow them periodically.

Meanwhile, the name is expected to be unveiled at the end of the month, though it seems like they've already let the cat out of the bag with the online schedule blunder.
