This is absolutely incredible.

The sad part is, this was more manly than the last few NBA fights. Especially that Knicks-Nuggets one. Even with the crying.

ESPN.com

"I was trying to protect the whole game, the integrity of the game," he said. "The WNBA is very special to me because I have four daughters. I don't even raise my hand to them, and I would never push a woman. This game, I love this game too much."

Mahorn was also involved in the 2004 Detroit Pistons-Indiana Pacers brawl while working as a Detroit broadcaster, going into the crowd to try to pull Ron Artest away from fans.

"Rick Mahorn is known as a peacemaker, from even the brawl we had here with Indiana," Detroit coach Bill Laimbeer said. "He went out there to get people off the pile and to get people to stop the confrontation. That's who he is, that's what he does."

Leslie did not talk to the media, but Los Angeles coach Michael Cooper also said he felt Mahorn was trying to stop the fight.

"I think Rick was trying to play peacemaker, but he's just too big," Sparks coach Michael Cooper said. "I was only trying to grab my players, and I didn't see exactly what happened, but he apparently gently tried to push Lisa away."

Or so he says... :shake: :shake:

Clearly people have yet to learn: Don't start a fight when Rick Mahorn is around, he is REQUIRED BY GOD HIMSELF TO GET INVOLVED.

Well that was something, and Ford getting pushed off in a wheelchair after hurting her restraining another teammate, unfortunate. When Parker was on the ground the Shock player shouldn't have walked up to her and started talking, she might not have gotten close enough for Parker to take her down, she was like standing directly over Parker.

Sweeeet Jesus, butch dyke galore!

I think it's about time to create the XWNBA, fuck basketball... this would make much more money as a purely street fighting league.

Those announcers suck....can someone count how many times they said "peacemaker"?

Anyway, decent girl fight, I just wish the men would get a little bit more physical, especially against the floppers.
Opinions are my own.

You can see him push her in the video, it's a bit obstructed but she went falling on her ass at 6:09, top right of the screen.

LMAO, What an idiot that one lady was who got up, walked into the player on purpose, to fall down again. Was that some kind of offensive move to attack the other player without throwing a punch? OH NO SHE DIDNT!!

Weird. Maybe it's just me, but it didn't seem like there was a lot of fighting. Just a lot of... restraining. Though those girls are tough, I admit.

Finals are a long gone memory, as is Pierce faking his injury. Honestly watched like Game 1, then watched Game 5 or 6, whichever one they won it in. [hold's up PDP sign and shoots Q]

Something is clearly wrong when WNBA players try to act and play like men (dunking, so what?) while the NBA players act (fight) and play like women (floppers).
