Since ill be getting the game tommorow...i decided to get a new NLSC patch done using the live 2004 shoes as a template. I'll be converting stuff like young jordan...but i wanted to do this shoe also. It will be up for download as soon as i can test it out. (btw the quality was lowered a bit for the 56k people)

Yes, I posted a screenie of 16 2004 shoes on nbalive.org, the template is identical.

Yea..im still not done making the shoes...ive gotta improve them. I just tested them to see if the mapping came out ok

Also...can i get mass opinion on this jordan patch? What should be improved?..should i even continue at all?

Your Jordan is killin the EA one, but in-game it don't look as good. I guess another headshape...................... because the blending and face looks off the hook.

think so too, with this headshape, jordan looks like a mixture of gp and shaq

but i wante'd to let you know the the shoe format isn't quite the same as last year... (i assume that's what the screen is of)
so i would check that before releasing it for 2004

Thanks for comments everyone..i have another great pic of MJ in his prime im gonna test out. Screens will be posted here when its done.

Nah that screenshot is from live 2004. I made these shoes using live 2004 shoes as a base before i got the game.

opinions welcomed...what should be fixed? I kinda like this one more than the last.

I've updated the preview above with a little overview of some of the things i've prepared for this patch...

Custom 90's Bulls Jordan Throwback
Custom black compression shorts
Custom left leg accesory
Custom left arm bands
Custom "wrinkled" thick socks

I still haven't finalised the face yet but thats what i've got so far. I also haven't decided what shoes to include..if any at all..since the game already has some cool jordan kicks.

well that new face definately beats the hell out of the first one you made, although it still could be a little tweaked... bigger mouth perhaps. also, i'd get rid of the texture on the red of his legsleeve, it was never that texturised, its rubber.

I settled on some shoes. I decided to remake my jordan VIII from live 2003 from scratch....

...no worries...the shoes can be selectable ingame...so people won't have to sacrifice other shoes.

ea's headshape reminds me of clifford robinson, it's more narrow up top. jordan's is a little wider up there. thug maybe you can find one that matches the pic on this site a little more. the patch is tight though.

thanks for the tips and comments. I just realised why the head looks so elongated...its cause the resolution dimensions of the screenshot is not 1024x 768...which is what most of us have our desktop resolutions at. The headshape doesnt look so bad ingame. When i release these patches and you see um ingame you wont be disappointed.

Also, jwin...do you know where i can get a full colored picture like that on the site? It looks like it would be great for a jordan patch. I've seen it somewhere before but i can't find it.

in the mean time...how you guys judge this stephon marbury face? I'm planning a full player update for him as well... (see and1 shoes above)

I think EA's marbury looks more like bruce bowen..but mabe thats just me. In addition, their marbury has a twisted nose.
