Games you're playing right now, and my freetime's demise

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Well I lied about not playing anything but Mario Kart Wii until Fable 2 comes out... Age of Conan is a pretty good game so far, I'm really enjoying it.

Also, Wii Fit... but can't really call that a game ;)

Been a lot of Rock Band since I fixed one of the guitars (downstrum wasnt working)

and other than that it has been Grid Grid Grid
Opinions are my own.

Way too many right now. I don't have enough time for them. I just got Ninja Gaiden 2 and MGS4, but Ninja Gaiden probably won't be touched until my exams are over. I also picked up Lego Indiana Jones, Mass Effect and NBA Street Homecourt for cheap, but like NG2 they'll have to wait.

I also have the orange box which I want to complete as well as getting 100% in GTA4. On top of all that I still play Halo 3 regularly online.

Was playing a lot of Fight Night Round 3 on the 360, then I got sidetracked by the PS2 version of FN: 2004 (I love those ragdoll knockouts, especially when they are stuck in the corner)

Benn playing too much of Live 06 with my excel created randomized all CAP league. Shouldnt be as fun as it is.

And I picked up Boom Blox today, simple fun will be the death of me.

Been playing GTA IV for a couple of days in a row now. I'm around 50%. Played one online match on NBA 2k8 aswell. I feel like I have all the games in the world that I need. :P Yay.

Started playing Mass Effect a second time, being a real prick to everyone this time around :P
Also replaying Crysis a 2nd time. I upgraded my HD when I was around the end of the game so I wanna play it again with better performance, and using the Natural Mod (highly recommended). It's hard to actually play it, every screen is just breathtaking
I just wander around, breaking trees and stuff...

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2 (Yeah, it is a very old game, and one that is pretty lame, but for some reason it is so addicting. It is great to use my Dreamcast again)

NBA Live 08 - Dynasties and using teams that have signed and traded players this offseason

Twisted Metal 2 - Always in the rotation for its always-fun multiplayer

GTA IV - Starting to play it again; so close to the end.

GRID - In the mail.

I am not really into games lately but playing some anyway.

Power Stone Collection from the PSP - Ahh. Nostalgic feeling i have when i have a great time with my cousin Dreamcast. Everytime we go there Power Stone would be our game.

TM2 - Always.

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 - Found in a bargain bin for $5. A steal.

NBA Live 08 - Freezes half the time I try to simtervene, but it is fun having Brand and the Sixers take on baron and the Clippers.

GTA IV - I hate missions in which the driving portion is mandatory. It is even worse when the driving portion is halfway across the city - in a large truck.

GRID - Beautiful graphics and exciting gameplay. (feels like you are actually racing!) Car handling is way too sensitive though.

DS:
Age of Empires: Age of Kings - I play this on the train to & from work....I'm a sucker for turn based strategy games....

PS3:
College Hoops 2k8 - season 2 ('08/09) of my Syracuse legacy....my team is pre-season #4 in nation, so it's looking good for a deep run in March....my created player is averaging 10ppg off bench for Hokies....

that's it....once free agency settles down, I'll start my NBA 2k8 Association with Knicks (or Nets)....I also have GTA 4 & have had it for like 6 weeks or longer, but haven't even pulled it out of the case....I had MGS4 on pre-order but haven't got around to picking it up....probably just cancel my pre-order....I still have to finish Uncharted & Restistance anyways....I guess too busy with other stuff....married life eh?

Only played Armageddon and 3D. Not sure which one i've got the most playing time out of. Both great games but I'd have to give 3D the edge probably because I've played it heaps with my brother and sister and that's always fun :)

Went back and forth a few rounds with Jao the other day- nearly epic battles. :P

I picked up Guitar Hero II and III for the 360 today. I've resisted it until now but I've been playing it at a mate's place which gave me a taste for it.

I picked Age of Empires 3 cheap today. Its not a bad game but i think number 2 is still probably better, still its always fun building massive armies and destorying the computer.

There's another one for the "signs you're getting older" thread. I remember when the original AOE was one of the hot new PC games. These days, you can get it on your mobile.

That's when I wish I had two guitars because it's boring watching someone else play, whereas it's more entertaining either competing in a pro face off or watching two people compete against each other... I tried playing it once as a party game but we turned it off after a few goes, mainly because everyone was getting bored watching someone else play and everyone apart from me sucked at it
