Most Frustrating Player to Watch?

Like real basketball, as well as basketball video games? Talk about the NBA, NCAA, and other professional and amateur basketball leagues here.

Last season, I'd nominate pretty much the entire Bulls roster though Hinrich often stood out for the way he'd pull up for a three on the break when the Bulls had numbers or overdribbled his way into a bad shot or shot clock violation. Like I said, the whole team was frustrating to watch at times but Hinrich's decision making last year was really frustrating to watch as it certainly didn't do anyone else any favours.

Speaking of Yao, apparently he's Yao Yao in 82games.com

I know, I know, it's for indexing purposes of the site.
HE'S USING HYPNOSIS!

for me, it used to be wang zhizhi.
he never seemed to be at nba lvl.
just painful to watch.

on current nba players, it'd be stromile swift.
from beginning of his career, his movement on court was just awful.
altho he can jump real high, he just doesn't have basketball sense at all.
amazing how he survived all those years in nba w/o getting waived.

^May I ask why? Because I love dude's all around game. Then again, I didn't watch too many Pistons games last season...

Yeah he's good, but imo he could play better than he does.

As a Raptors fan, I'd have to say Vince Carter for obvious reasons.
But if I had to pick a player who isn't in the league anymore, it'd be Derrick Coleman.
He had the talent to be a star, but he only played "good enough" to get his paycheck.

Was he the one who threw the dumbbell at Ruben Patterson (or vice-versa) and it wound up injuring someone else?

I think he sucker punched him during practice or something, and being the insane idiot that Patterson is, chased all around the practice facility and Randolph was forced to hide at Theo Ratliff's house.

For me it's Kobe.

I hate that guy with a passion but he's just too good...scoring in bunches, breaking records and collecting trophies. Damn I hate him and his success. I'm so glad the Celtics won the Finals so Kobe still ain't got that ring without Shaq. He better tell him how his ass taste.

Why doesn't Pavel Podkolzin frustrate you then?

Cause I don't care for him, plus he lasted like all of 6 games. So in you guys' cases where you hate a player and he frustrates you, Yao frustrates me because I watch him and I want him to dominate and lead the Rockets to wins.

He is still soft as hell, he may be getting like 16 or 18 points for the CNT, but it's cause he hangs around the outside to jack up shots instead of playing his height and position sometimes and battle down low. Plus he's lazy and when he got cut by the Heat he got all emo and stopped training and ate fast food all the time. I remember when he first came to America there was so much hype, but all he did in his most successful season with the Mavs was just chill at the 3 pointer line and wait for someone to kick it out to him.

Anthony Carter, he can't do anything right
Allen Iverson passing on family values:

A.I.: son, what you doing there?
A.I.'s son: practicing my math for my test tommorow
A.I: practice? practice? we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test - practice. we talkin' 'bout practice. not the test, not the test - practice.

I hated to see Radmanovic during the Finals last game. It looked like he didn't want to play the game. The most important game in his carrer! And he didn't care! ...At least I was rooting for the Celtics.

TJ Ford. like Donatello's frustration with Jarrett Jack, I hate TJ's lack of efficiency when he tries to drive and play 1 on 5.

Smush Parker... after watching him in the AND1 mix tapes... then actually watching him in an NBA game. It seems as if there are actually 2 different Smuh Parkers.

And then there is Patrick Ewing in Seattle, trying to nail 20 ft shots, from the side...
And finally, Hakeem in Toronto... with the dream shake that was actually a yawner.

The latter two are more forgiveable I would think, seeing as though they were past their prime by that point in their careers.

Lebron James..
I like the guy,he's good or even great but he doesn't have any flare and he only knows about 3-4 kind of dunks plus his jump shots are not so good to watch..considering that people says that he's the next jordan..and will be the new slam dunk king..

Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol during the 08 Finals..
'nuff said.

Ray Allen..
you can't leave him alone..he's automatic..too bad he's in the other team..

Dwyane Wade and LeBron James also. Wade flops constantly, then you have half of the forum slobbing on his knob, even when the Heat win 15 games in a season. LeBron is a great player, but he travels on half of his possessions, and misses his free shots.

Shawn Bradley. Argh! Every time a dunker drove into the lane, I prayed he wouldn't get posterized.

Michael Finley buzzed me during his later years in Dallas where he'd stop driving to the rim. Same applied to Josh Howard during the playoffs.

I agree with you. I hate watching Kobe for god sake. For me he is the great definition of a ball-hog. I know there are Wade and Lebron who are ball-hogs but at least they pass the ball in every possession and they are great passers. Kobe just can't win a title if there is no great big men in his team

Watching Malik Allen and Adrian Griffin together on the Bulls was often a frustrating experience a couple of years ago. Skiles was still in the habit of playing them for long stretches during which time they'd take it upon themselves to try and carry the scoring load. It wasn't pretty.

Damon Jones - how he still thinks he's the best shooter in the league. As he said, that the four best shooters in the league are him in different stages of his career.
