Salary cap and Slow Motion

Postby Jason08Raptors on Wed Jul 02, 2008 9:28 am

I have NBA Live 08 and is there a way to edit or get rid of the salary cap completely?

Also, when I play the game, it is very choppy and the fps are very low. Is there a way to fix that? Here are my computer specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium
2GB Ram
250 GB HardDrive
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150
AMD Turion 64x2 2.2 Ghz

I tried to lower the game resoultion, the game settings and detail level. It helped very little and is still slow. Please help

Thanks

There's a tutorial on editing the salary cap. If you change it to an amount like $150 mil, you won't have to worry about it.

As far as your gameplay goes, it sounds like your video card.
You have enough RAM, so I would say update your card, which has a slim chance of improving things, then give it a try.
I'm not familiar with that card, so I don't know how good it is, but low FPS and and choppy gameplay could easily be a result. Also, make sure you don't have any antivirus programs running or any other tasks running in the background. I've found that if I close those programs, some games run smoother so you may want to try that as well.

Yeah that's what I meant.

In that case, update your card.
I don't see how there could be anything else.
