Improving Players

HOW DO I DO IT!?! :? I don't see the point in Dynasty mode if I can't improve them. Training them does not work...or it makes them worse. Has anyone had any success and if so, please lemme know :D .

they improved like in the old franchise mode at the beginning of the new season. developing by using points doesn't bring very much. i use the points by buying coaches for the whole season

How can training at something make you worse? That is the most retarded thing I've ever heard. If you jog a mile everyday for a month there's no way in hell you'll get worse at running. That's a big falter on EA's part, however fix that and FA stuff then 2005 will be great.

I was trying to make Eddy Curry a better shot blocker so i trianed him, i put 70 on defensive awareness and 30 on conditioning and he end up gaining a point on shot block but lost a point for FG but the conditioning elements stayed the same. I don't understand why this is. I'm thinking maybe if i put 10 pts to the 3 other category, maybe the computer will not subtract points to those. I haven't tried it though.

the hole thing is after a season younger players are suppose to improve in games with Dynasty mode well THEY DONT. I mean I had Carmelo, Lebron and Darko on same team simmed 2 seasons and they were all still around there inital ovr.

Well i tried doing what i said on my last post and it didn't work either, i still got deducted on the my other categories.

I think the rationale here is best explained by what happened to Dennis Rodman. He was averaging 20+pts in college but when he came to the NBA he focused more on defense and rebounding, and he pretty much lost his scoring ability during the latter part of his career, but his defense and rebounding was great.

If all the categories only goes positive when we train our players then all of them could be rated a 100 after some seasons and that wouldn't be realistic too, right? :D
