Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

Is there a toolkit you can use with madden like untalkative bunny's nba live toolkit?

the only stuff like that for madden is stat utilities for like franchise reporting and stuff. nobody has been able to break the code for madden to create anything else really.

does it bother anyone that when a player gets injured, he always walks off the field under his own power. even if its a Career Ending injury, he just walks off with no problem.
then it says he injured his shoulder or arm, and he is just meesing with his wrist. this bothers me and makes it very unrealistic

It's just a cut scene, chillax. They don't get up if it's a head injury though. At least I don't think so.
Think of it this way, at least they have the cut scene, and it ya don't like it skip it.
What did bug me was no celebration after the super bowl. I waited for a bout a minute after the game and there was just a view of the players kind of streching on teh sideline from far away.

there is actually a celebration going on in all that emptiness. some people actually get to see it, while most don't. not sure if has to do with video cards or system specs and whatnot, but for the few that see it it's supposedly the same as last years celebration. after my first superbowl i waited for the celebration to happen, then nothing. like you said some player movement on the sidelines, and fan movement. but it just stayed that way till i hit one of the buttons.

Do you guys get to see some scenes after the end of every game? If not, then it probably is a graphic problem.

Perhaps turning sideline detail up helps? As when I had sideline at 0 I didn't even get cheerleaders.

got everything maxed but referee shadows. there was a post at maddenmania about it, i'll try to dig it up and reread when i get a chance, but i think it had something to do with the type of vid card. i have a system with pci slots so the only video card options are the radeon 7500 which i have, and i think the fx5200, neither of which would probably support the super bowl celebration this year. there are a lot of features in this years game that are specific to newer model cards, the old ones just won't support them supposedly.

I've got an NVIDIA Riva TNT so I guess that explains it, I can still run pretty much everything at medium (except shadows and such) with 1024*768 rez. Impressed me since I couldn't do that with Live 03. Guess it's just better coding.

there's very little change in the celebrations... all the celebrations are the same winning weekly games, conference chapions, and super bowl.. hope they add more celebration in madden2k5.. even the taunts are still the same.. oh well, i guess you really can't have everything in one game..

I am playing a bit, of course not as much, I'm actually not playing either much right now due to school, and not being able to have in-game save in Live.
