Can't use roster patch when in Multiplayer Mode

First of all sorry for my bad english..

Okay, so my problem is when we are playing NBA LIVE 08. Our game doesn't have the latest rosters. Even if we load the patch. Is this normal or theres a problem with the game.

Example: We load Kris Rosters Patch, animation are loaded but rosters are not. Example with the Lakers, Kobe shoots like he does (thanks to the animation) but starting five is not Gasol and 60 Overall Bynum. They have Kwame Brown as a Center.

Yes, it's normal. You'll need to copy the roster files to the database folders under your My Documents folder (originaldb, currentdb, workingdb) as well as the OrigDB folder stored in the main game folder (by default, C:\Program Files\EA Sports\NBA Live 08\database\OrigDB).

Sir I Followed what you said but why when we start the game. It says "DATABASE ERROR" when in loading screen.

Does it specify which database has the problem (players.dbf, appearance.dbf etc)?

So there's a problem with appearance.dbf file. Maybe try using different roster update and see if you still have this problem.

What would happen If, i copied player.dbf(Albys Roster Update) to the Default Database(working,current,original,OrigDB | Unpatch).

OR

I Copied appearance.dbf(Default) to Updated Database(working,current,original,OrigDB | Albys Roster Update)

Will there be errors/compatibilty problems with other DBF's?

Note: the player.dbf OR apperance.dbf only
