Want good graphics, get ESPN.
Want crap for gameplay and no dynasty mode, get ESPN.

Want to have fun, Get LIVE
Want to enjoy this AWESOME site, get LIVE
Want to play more people online with PS2, Get LIVE

I can keep on going with positives for Live and I can keep on going with negatives for ESPN.

GET LIVE....IT's IN THE GAME

Want graphics and gameplay and simulation: Get ESPN
Want fun street mods and a 24/7 Mode: Get ESPN
Want to control your right thumbstick on offense AND defense: Get ESPN

Want to stay true to your tradition and be satisfied without playing ESPN: Get Live

ESPN's better, in my opinion, probably because I've been playing it since 2K1 on the Dreamcast. If you're more into Live's style than you should probably get Live.

I too have owen every single NBA live, except 2004; and I won't be bothering to get it either!

And I won't lie to you buddy, take from The Don... Sega is the real deal; they've only been in this game for a few years and so have their NFL games as well, and they're beating EA, who has been in the game for some 10 years!

ESPN Football beating Madden? That's a joke and an incredibly biased opinion.

graphiclly, espn is better...
but i thought it was said once and for all, by almost every site, that Live was better in gameplay.
also that Simulation play was better with the use of sliders...

:? that's in Live...

NBA Live 2004 far surpasses any previous NBA Live title, the gameplay can be as realistic or arcade-ish as you desire. But in all fairness, you should probably rent both games first and see which one you like best.

Well no. Not any more. It's called IsoMotion but it completely sucks! You always get the ball stolen or get bounced back because you can't get around them, even on the easiest mode!

Or maybe the learning curve's a bit too long for you because I find it quite easy on Rookie. It only poses a challenge All-Star and Superstar(And probably Hall of Fame if you can unlock). It's not the same as Live. You can't turn the joystick halfway around, or else you'll get it stolen. You have continue your moves all around or just go hard at the guy(joystick up) or hard to each sides(joystick left or right).

No argument.

Realistic gameplay is crap? OK...
ESPN's Dynasty Mode MURDERS NBA Live's.

There's about the same amount of people. :?

That helps your case...by showing that you're a fan boy.

By the way, this is all coming from someone who had loved and bought every Live from 1998-2004. ESPN is much better, no doubt about it.
