You all have my full permission to PM Eddy-MVP (NOT EddyMVP...the hoaxer has a dash) and Homer (his other identity) and tell him how much you appreciate him trying to hoax you before he is put to death. I won't consider posts here off-topic either.

OK. Thanks. He is making lebron james(tim duncan, jason kidd, etc.) look like an angel.

Sorry Eddy(the real one). Stupid lazy people. You should sneek in and take it.

yeah, the PC version.

you gotta hook us up with some graphic files so we kinda know what we can patch and whatnot, and some screens too.

BTW-What are your cpu specs? How is the game running and at what resolution?

Thanks

Postby madhooper on Sun Nov 09, 2003 7:26 am

AMD XP 1800
Geforce FX 5200 (128 MB)
512 DDR Memory

Game runs smoothly
1024x 768

The game is 2 discs and the box says make sure u have 1.5 GB's available.

The Play by Play is realistic. The overlays are better. Players score and they showed pts, rebs and asts.

I'll post some stuff on madhooper.com Sunday afternoon

Hey madhooper, just wondering, last year's coding was really bad. I mean, you can't run it too smoothly even though you should be able to. For example, I could run madden at full details and high resolution no prob at like 100 fps but Live 2003 at barely 60 fps on medium details at 800x 600. Did they fix that this year? I have the same specs as you other than the graphics card which is a Geoforce 4 Ti4200 which should be sufficient for this game. Thanks in advance and have fun!

Please show us the interface, thats what we've never seen in any of the earlier screenshots. Is it the same as the consoles? any difference in menu setup?

As an avid online gamer I'm desperate to know whether either of the online modes (direct play and nba live online service) support more than one player per team. I can't believe that in live 2003 you were actually capable of playing with more players on the one computer than 2 (should support min 10 comps in this day and age). I have a bunch of e-buddies that I play other games with who are also bball fans and we've been wanting to form teams and play against other teams for a while. I really hope that they've fixed this.

another couple questions:

-face in the game in create player?
-any improvement on create team?

Maxed out

Postby madhooper on Sun Nov 09, 2003 12:09 pm

I played a half (with the Pistons of course) with my video setting at maximum. No performance lag at all.

I screwed with the setting a little bit. I increase the reachin fouls and a few other things.

Got my a$$ kicked (superstar) against Philly.

It can't seem to make bull$h!t shots. You are highly likely to miss many layups under the hoop or they'll get blocked. (ask Rip, he got blocked by Derrick Coleman).

I'm sure after everyone gets the game they will complain about bugs but as always I enjoy the game no matter what bugs exist.

Madhopper, have you played the console version of the game? If you have, can you compare the two? I wouldn't worry too much about the gameplay b/c I'm sure we will find the perfect sliders. please try to post some of the games graphical fsh and whatnot.
