NLSC Sim League [Draft Time]

Postby Fizdale on Sat Jun 21, 2008 11:37 pm

I dunno if there is one, but wouldnt it be fun if we have a sim league like in realgm, otr and other sites? It's a dynasty on the internet! In here u trade with other posters/gms via pm, we do trades, the draft etc. we can do free agency but it will be hard so im thinking not having free agency, it will be nice if andrew makes a new forum for this sim league, but im ok with here, someone please sticky this?

Requirements:

- active and promising gm
- at least logs in 4x a week
- can post in this thread weekly

We will do the draft after all spots are filled, Im taking the Bulls, so I have the first pick,

By the way guys, after we fill spots, we draft, then we trade in offseason then we start the season, we will vote in games based on the roster of each user.

Once you sign up, you can claim your 08-09 salaries/lineups from me.

WE WILL USE 08/09 SALARIS NOT 97/08 ANYMORE! Thanks

I'll take Houston. How long will this league be? I might be busy later. In that case, could I "retire" and let my "assistant coach" be the "head coach"? ;)

1. What's the goal?

We will gm a team, we trade, we draft, we sign, we vote

2. Trade?

In trading, salaries MUST match, only exception is if you have cap space, depending on the team you select. ALL transactions must be approve by e to get it official. Many teams are tanking or helping others, so our goal is to make it clean and fair.

3. Free Agency

we may have this, or not, posters whine because of their stars leaving their team, so the idea of scrapping it off features popped up but it's bad for teams who has cap space, so we vote on players who opt out and not, ex. marion, brand, maggete

4. Season Gamedays

we will vote for other matches, u cant vote in ur respective matchup, and votes will be counted 24 hrs, we will judge the team overall, chemistry, and etc.

5. Draft

we will poster draft it, once all spots are filled,we will begin drafting, a poster is given 12 hrs to draft, if he doesnt draft, whomever realgm.com'mock draft suggests, his pick will be simmed, and if the person projected on 5th is taken based on realgm, then the team that has the 5th team will have the best currently player, leave it alone to me.

i will update the list of gm's wait (Y)

masterjam, check pm.

in my opinion, its better if u offer a gm via private message so that it wont be in public and so that other posters cant steal your trade.

anyways i got an offer, thabo sefolosha and chris duhon for rodney stuckey and juan dixon?

Doc Noc, I suggest that trading should only be allowed when all teams are taken.

Say, a guy who want to take Lakers does not see this thread until now. He wanted Tyrus Thomas as well, but it has already been traded...

Sorry if I am noob, but what does (TR) and (BYC) means?

Also, I think for convenience, you should also state the position(s) of the players.
