Decreasing cpu fast breakes

Postby Xavi on Sun Nov 09, 2003 4:27 am

My impressions of nba live 2004 play2 are very good in general. I think the game is much better than nba live 2003 and i hope that pc game should be a great game becaus if it is like play 2 with the possibility of change we'll make a great game; perhaps the best nba live game of ever i hope.
The worst thing of nba 2004 play2 is the cpu fast brakes. Although i have changed my defense to individual midle pitch is too much dificult reduce the cpu fast breaks. Is there another possibility? Perhapps modifiing cpu settings but i wouldn't reduce all the fast breaks. If anybody have tryed please help me.
Thank you all.

Fast break defense

Still working on it, but I hit L2 (last man back button) and speed and get a man into the paint. Then I direct switch to my Center and get in to position. I have been using 2-3 zone.

Like you would appreciate other solutions to this.

The best way to avoid CPU fast breaks is to run your plays and move the ball around. If you bring the ball up the floor and take quick shots, the CPU will fast break on the rebounds.

Another thing to try is switch to the player under the basket after you take your shot. If you crash the boards with your guards, you leave their guards open for the fast break.

Hope this helps.
