Rofl @ Bulls.
Larry Highes, Andres Nociono and Brandan Wright :lol.
It's Larry Hughes, Andres Nocioni and Brandon Wright.
Also, made me wonder how do the Timberwolves have 7 starters ?

Okay, okay, if you fix these little mistakes.. I'm speechless, really nice and clean dynasty.

PS: ouis Williams and Devon Harris are rookies ? I have never heard of them :P (most of the post was sarcasm, to point out the mistakes)

Lmfao, holy shit... xD

I should have probably looked it over before I posted, huh?
All-Nighters + Typos = Lose. :(

Oh, btw - It's Brandan* Wright, not Brandon. that one I didn't screw up. Heh...

Oskar, He typed Brandan Wright correctly, he´s name isn´t Brandon.
Few typos, but it happens, again nice work

Oh, okay, Brandan, but still, few mistakes. Don't worry about them, it happens, it still another very nice recap. :)

No, no - I'm glad you pointed them out, and I'd appreciate if you continued to do so.

I know you guys are probably waiting for the actual season to start but I want to add some decent patches to my game before I start the season. However everytime I make a thread about it, no one seems to answer. If anyone knows of some useful patches and would like to recommend them please post a reply or send me a PM.

I do not need patches that affect the players ratings, AI, or simulation stats.

I would like a patch that allows me to "reorder rosters" and maybe something that edits the amount of playing time players get, if possible.

If there are any realistic/cool scoreboard patches (the scoreboard that hovers the screen in gameplay, that'd be great as well.

Other recommendations are welcomed.

Yeah, I have this actually, however the first time I tested it (with the Sacramento Kings) it didn't work. It kept switching it so Beno Udrih was the starting PG. I made a post about it, they said it was a bug, I asked if it occurred often or if it was just bad luck - I didn't get an answer.

And yes, I'm using NBA Live 2008.

Also, I thought I heard someone mention a "reorder roster" for NBA Live 2007 that might work for 2008? I don't know, I might have misunderstood.

I have been silently reading this dynasty since you started it, and I gotta say your presentation is great.

I think you assembled a nice mix of young and veteran players. Hopefully, you can start the season. (Y)

This is one of the only dynasties I actually view to read. It has a nice presentation, it's easy to read, it's a very creative idea and so on. Mostly I always read offseason and behind the scene recaps, but I don't really enjoy game recaps. Most people don't. You should try something very creative, if you want it to be the best dynasty, which it has a possibility, but that's just my opinion.

This isn't very creative already? I know that behind-the-scenes recaps aren't. Not to mention that 90% of them are complete shit.

Can't wait until you find proper settings and roster to start this. I'll be looking forward to it.

It is creative. What I meant, is something new to game recaps. He hasn't reached there, yet.

I'm glad you guys think so highly of my dynasty. :)

I've tried just about everything I can think of. I'm willing to play out all of the game, but I want the games to have 12 minute quarters. The only way to keep 12 minute quarters and reasonable numbers is lowering the game speed in sliders to like 20, maybe lower. That's really slow... I'm also willing to just simulate all of the games but every simengine I use brings unrealistic results. It's a shame too, because the only area that seems to look fake is the assists. Kevin Garnett and Chris Bosh always average triple doubles. I've also seen Amare Stoudemire and Carlos Boozer do this a couple times. Players like LeBron James ending finishing with over an 8apg, but only a 5rpg. A lot of star shooting guards like Kobe Bryant average 10+ assists. It's annoying. I've tried lowering their passing ratings, I've tried lowering their offensive awareness. I don't know why it does this and I don't understand why there isn't a fix for it.

Another reason I don't want to simulate my game is because a lot of my positions should be rotating often. For example, Ramon Sessions and Jannero Pargo should be playing practically the same amount of time, but knowing the simengine, Pargo will be lucky to get five minutes a game.

SIGH! </rant>?

EDIT

By the way, thanks for the advice Oskar. I had a couple things in mind as far as the recaps go. Whether people will like them or not, I have no idea.[/b]

With all this buildup I wonder what your game actually looks like.

Can't wait for the actual recaps. I suggest you either sim-intervene all games, or do what The X does and has a three-game pattern of play-intervene-sim or something along those lines. Other way, good luck. This is still looking great.
