LOL. Allen Iverson is available in the practice mode

Pretty obvious that it's a spoof but fun all the same.

Also, a special hidden mini-game was added in honor of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. Code-named “Mortal Kuban,” players can play as the brash entrepreneur as he fights to the death against characters such as disgraced ex-referee Tim Donaghy, ESPN reporter Stephen A. Smith, Dallas center Dirk Nowitski’s mother, and – as the “big boss” at the end – NBA Commissioner David Stern.

Should we be so quick to laugh off such a feature? ;)

I highly suspect this means : "The coverboy will be Allen Iverson".
Why? Because NBA Live coverboys appear in the practice arena in the main menu on next-gen consoles. Maybe this is a reality in the joke.

There's an article on the same site, an old article from the summer, that Kobe Bryant will be traded to Chicago, if he can change his name to Michael Jordan and his stats will be added to Michael's account.. So I don't really take that site seriously :D

I guess anything's possible but I highly doubt that article revealed any facts about NBA Live 09. It's just a satirical piece based on the reaction to Live in recent years.
