they were run poorly the whole game....their defence was solid as usual, but offensively they were atrocious all game long....

that was more of a blanket statement for the entire celtic season and more so the post season.

rondo missed a practice. in replay, it looked bit ugly. hope to see his ankle will be at full strength for game 5 or 6. if not, it will be a great chance for lakers to take advantage of it. it's a big hole boston's offense. he's an only point guard who can penetrate for boston. or maybe rondo's pulling another paul pierce show in game 1, coming back a hero. anyways, it should be interesting to see if boston will struggle offensively again or not.

He rolled his ankle. For someone who is a MMA fan (im guessing from your signature) you of all people would know there is alot worse sports injuries out there then a rolled ankle.

I think the problem is they immediately made the comparison to Willis Reed, when a comparison to Larry Bird in the 1991 playoffs might have been more appropriate. If they'd avoided that hype and portrayed it for what it was - a player suffering an injury that turned out not to be as serious as it first seemed - then maybe there wouldn't the backlash that there has been.

Can't wait for todays game. I'm going to sleep early now and skip my browsing routines...

I expect a big game from KG and Pierce, and if Allen can hit his shots, C's have a big chance. Too bad for Rondo though, I just hope he plays well...

As for the Lakers, well, Odom hasn't contributed in the series so far...If he and Gasol starts to contribute, tough matchup for the C's...

Go C's...

EDIT: I think I'm going to change my avatar for the meantime to show support...

Yeah, I like that too. :D

But from the looks of it, I think Rondo's "sprain" was worse than Pierce in a way. Maybe Rondo can shoot 3's now...

It's a good thing he's not suffering from the flu as well. The hype would have been off the charts. ;) Still, it's another case of the player copping the backlash for the story and comparisons the media decided to run with.

It's probably considered ancient history now but now that you mention it, it is surprising there hasn't at least been a fleeting reference.

it's surprising to see leading scorer of boston in this series is ray allen. hope to see more of ray in game 4. In game 3, as soon as rondo left of injury, allen didn't seem to get enough touches. imo, at least so far in the series, he's been the most consistent player from boston offensively so if I was doc rivers, I'd use him more offensively especially when he's not guarded by Bryant. He seems to match up well against other guards.

still i'm leaning towards lakers in tonight's game by just a little like 6 to 4 in chances.

35-14. Holy shit, Lakers on automatic. 14-6 in rebounds and 10-1 in assists after the first quarter.

45-23. Holier shit. I doubt the Celtics can make a comeback. But if they do, I'll eat these words. Or I could just edit this post. ;)

The Celtics are making a comeback.

Is it just me, or is Vladimir Radmanovic the new Fatoine Walker? I don't have any stats to back myself up, but every time I see him on the court, he drags the team down with him with a bunch of missed threes.

boston slowly crawling back!

but more bad news for boston. perkins's hurt. and clearly rondo being not 100% healthy causing problems offensively for celtics.

and seems like this will effect game 5 as well...
