What Team Will You Pick in Live 09 as a dynasty?

Sat May 31, 2008 4:02 pm

Since I picked an eastern conference team in 08 ( Philadelphia) I am going to pick a western conference team in 09. I am more than likely going to pick either Memphis or Sacramento because I like taking teams that i think need rebuilding and nearly build them from the ground up. If I take Memphis I will build around Rudy Gay and whoever the 5th pick is this. If Mike Miller hasn't been traded I might trade him to a team that starts off bad who needs a SG to get a 1st round pick. I trade most of the stars within the first three years to get some younger players. I might even consider trading Rudy Gay and Mike Miller to Portland for Greg Oden so that oden and conley can play on the same team together. If I pick Sacramento then Ron Artest will be traded along with Brad Miller for maybe younger players and draft picks whether it's early first round or mid first round. So will you pick and why? I might even trade off Artest and Miller and try and get Rose or Beasley if I go Sacramento then get rid of Kevin Martin for first round.

Portland Trail Blazers is a good choice if in NBA-Live 09,Brandon Roy's overall is over 80.

I'll go with the Bulls, simply because they're my favourite team.

I bet you'll be enjoying the Bulls this year Andrew especially if they draft Rose.

I will pick the Lakers because they are my favorite and also they will be more dominant next season with Bynum...(Y)

and also they will be the defending champs soon... :D

I expect so. I'll probably end up trading Hughes. I like to play with accurate rosters for the most part, at least in the beginning but after a while I get a bit restless and look to make deals, especially when there's a bit of a logjam.

I will be the Bulls aswell because they are my favourite team too. I can't wait to play with Rose or Beasly.

Heard that there are rumors of a possible Dywane Wade trade to Chicago for the 1st draft pick. If it's true, I'll pick Chicago as well.

Probably not much more to those rumours than idle speculation, it seems unlikely that the Heat would be too keen to give up Wade.

I'll go Phoenix 'cos they're my favorite

I dunno abt you Andrew, but trading Shaq to Phoenix was quite a surprise for me; and with Pat Riley, I wouldn't rule out the possibility though.

If Rose were to play PG, which position would Hinrich play? Heat needs a PG more than a PF, while I think Wade will fit in as SG for the Bulls team quite nicely... but that's just my opinion. :)

I realise that but Shaq is in the twilight of his career and would have been a huge financial burden on the Heat. The same can't be said for Wade. If they did trade for Wade, I would assume Hinrich would need to be included in the deal for salary cap purposes. Anyway, that's a topic for the thread over in NBA Talk.

:p just an opinion, if i was the bulls, i would pick beasley over rose simply cause chicago rite now dont have much of an inside game now that big ben is gone.
they already have ppl like hinrich and gordan in the backcourt, so adding beasley to their starting lineup would boost the team's overall talent

XD just a thought

They didn't have much of an offensive game inside when Wallace was there, either.

It's between Miami and Chicago, depending on which team picks Rose. Most likely the Bulls, because of Tyrus Thomas. But I'll probably deal Kirk Hinrich, which the Bulls will likely do, if they draft Rose. Cause I like Gordon better. Although the Bulls will probably deal Gordon due to the resigning issues.

Pick your team, and trade for Rose or BEasly. One of them will find their way to the Pacers next season in my dynasty :)

Thu Jun 12, 2008 3:42 am

Lakers for my dynasty. :)

Thu Jun 12, 2008 5:58 am

GS Warriors.

Thu Jun 12, 2008 6:52 am

Most likely Houston, and then trade for Yi. Or maybe I might go with a team that I hate (like Lakers or something) just to see what it would be like to play as them, hell might be enjoyable.

Thu Jun 12, 2008 7:21 pm

lakers or bobcats

Sat Jun 14, 2008 10:01 am

Knicks if they trade for davis
If not then most likely Washington Wizards

Sun Jun 15, 2008 8:44 am

More than likely New Orleans.. I've lost interest in my Kings after Bibby left, so i guess its time to start playing with somebody else..

Sun Jun 15, 2008 6:39 pm

Wormy You Could Be Atlanta and you would have Bibby, Joe johnson, josh smith, marvin williams and al horford.

Mon Jun 16, 2008 1:54 am

Always wanted to do Orlando one with Dwight Howard. Everyone is tradeable so as to surround players that complement Howard.
