The Wolves are colder than ever?
Wed Jun 11, 2008 2:37 am
Aha, I really carried the Knicks high. They had the 6th pick, now they're the 13th best. I really hope Starbury will often foul out or get injuried, I'll get the Knicks as high as.. uh, possible ?

If I want my team to be successful, then I shouldn't get much playing time. Cause Lebron is our key..

ORLANDO MAGIC BOXSCORE | SEATTLE SUPERSONICS BOXSCORE
SEATTLE, WA -- The Seattle Supersonics hosted their first game of the season, and it may be a sign of things to come for the team...they lost. The abysmal team left over from last year's squad has a couple new key contributors, namely 2nd overall draft pick Kevin Durant. He and a couple other rookies will look to show this city some fun, athletic basketball. Paired against the high-octane Orlando Magic, the Sonics did just this: put on a show for the home crowd. The only problem lied in the fact that they could not stop the "show" known as the Orlando Magic. Alot of up-and-down quick possessions dominated this game, and Seattle came up short 100-104 in a valiant second half comeback. The close margin gives the team a moral victory as to say that they can play on the level of other playoff contending teams. The real struggle for the Sonics came and the defensive rebounding end. The Magic had a big 21-9 advantage on 2nd-chance opportunities. For the game, the Magic out-rebounded the Sonics 39-27. An inside presence will be important for the Sonics to balance the talent they have at the guard and small forward positions...The Magic were lead by Jameer Nelson who had 27 pts (5/13 3s), 2 reb, and 7 asts.

Presentation is awesome, love the boxscores. I was going to say that the pics look oversaturated to me or something, but with the amount of work you put into this, I wouldn't care if they were in black or white.

good point Oskar, i saw the Giricek raping and laughed my ass off too
in general, it seems like NLSCers dont get much PT, but i see this as true-to-life...i do think I will edit all the NLSCer's dbf to make them have excellent potential so we all get increasing better as time goes on, but im not sure how immediate that impact is
stay tuned y'all; i'll be playing my 2nd game soon

SEATTLE SUPERSONICS BOXSCORE | CLEVELAND CAVALIERS BOXSCORE
CLEVELAND, OH -- The first game away from Key Arena proved to be good luck for the Green & Gold. Displaying great determination and a balanced attack, the Supersonics made their way to an impressive 99-83 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers. By focusing on their mistakes in their home opener, they were able to make better on these errors, and play more competitive basketball. The gleaming err of the Sonics game against the Magic was the rebounding and 2nd chance disparage, so Sonics rookie leader Kevin Durant told his troops to hit the boards at all chances. This strategy worked to perfection, as the visiting Sonics out-rebounded the Cavs 33-21, including an important 14-6 edge on the offensive boards. In addition to eating the glass, the Sonics made every effort they could to limit the Cavs' superstar LeBron James to as few scoring opportunities as possible. The star was held in check to a below-average 18 points, while young-gun Daniel Gibson led the home team with an impressive 21 points & 8 assists. Seattle was led once again by its rookie star-in-the-making Kevin Durant who had a game high 26 points (on 11/20 FGs) to go along with 4 rebounds and 5 assists. His supporting cast featured 5 other players in double figures, including a surprising 12 points from backup center Robert Swift.
