I guess there’s no need for me to post all the results from yesterday’s Champions league match-ups? Chelsea’s 4 – 0 beat-down over Lazio was tremendous for them, because of all the huge spending on a number of players!

Man Untied 3 – 0 victory over Rangers was expected; seeing that Rangers blew their chance on home turf the last time around, thanks to a rear goal by Phil Neville.

But the situation & controversy surrounding Ruud Van Nistlerooy & Holland / Netherlands coach; is mind-boggling and confusing? Because of Van Nistlerooy’s behavior a few months back, he had to sit out of the Netherlands last match; but now the coach is saying that he has dropped Van Nistlerooy from the Holland squad, and Van Nistlerooy isn’t apart of his plans!

His replacement… Barcelona’s (supposedly star striker) Patrick Kluivert! The reason why I say supposedly is because Kluivert has yet to find the back of the net once, this season, in the Spanish League, after scoring 17 goals in each of the last two seasons… I love Patrick Kluivert, but a lot of fans & soccer critics have said many times that he is over rated, and isn’t the world class player that some people praise him to be; and the way he’s playing at this present time, he’s proving their point! Right now, from time to time, he is finding himself on the bench because of his disappointing play!

Kluivert, along with French striker Cisse, & Italian stars: Francesco Totti, and Del Piero are termed as over rated players; simply because they may dominate in their respective leagues: Spain, France, & Italy… but when it comes to big time play like in the UEFA Champions League & International play, these players reputation, talent, & skill; just can’t be seen!

As for the Holland coach, how could anyone not pick a guy that last season scored 47 goals in 59 games, in all competitions, a record 12 Champions league goals, and has scored 30 + goals in the champions league over 3 seasons?
