you get a message in the game that Player X has been reported, after the game in the wrapup you see what penalty was issued (CLeared, Reprimand or Suspension) then you can appeal if you dont agree, and yeh...

That's pretty cool. How close to the real thing is the gameplay in that game?

Its ok but not great...better than previous versions of the game

Yeah i remember AFL 98 and 99, being touted as the bees knees, but they were just tripe. And I also played Kevin Sheedy coaching extravaganza or whatever the hell it was, where you only got to coach, not play. That was also bollocks.

Before them, AFL Finals Fever in 96, where i dont think i ever lost a game.

Pre-dating them all though was an AFL game on Nintendo, which a friend of mine owned, which was fairly enjoyable. I think that came out in probably '91 or so.
