Chinese people have a hard enough time fitting in here in Southern California (where there are a good number of Asians & American Asians) so I can't even begin to imagine what it's like in the frozen tundra of Cañada.

Edit: well Jing's a weirdo too. He has his fobby moments but then again sometimes he breaks out of it. Come to think about it, i should start a thread where we can talk about this kinda stuff. it's really interesting to me.

The community that I am in, turns whiteys and blacks a minority. Asians are the majority. I just came last year, and all that I was not used to was that the lack of tall buildings, and the air is too clean?

well that's different, when you move into a Chinatown or sometihng similar. My dad's side of the family lives in the largest Vietnamese community in the United States, dubbed Little Saigon.
In Chinatowns, the history of them show that you don't need to learn English and everything is almost like as if you're still living in Asia. Reminds me of when I watched a documentary last week about the Chinese American's (sad) history in the United States.

It's the Canadian part of them where the weirdness is emanating from, otherwise they're normal if they're only Chinese.

The frozen tundra in which we call Canada snows about 10 times a year in some places, if we're lucky. On the West coast, the weather is quite mild on this side of the 49th parallel. As explained by the lack of large cities, most of the Chinese immigrants don't go to the North Pole.

I don't live anywhere near Chinatown. And yet there are still a lot of Chinese families living nearby, still not as much, and you still need to know enough english to talk to your neighbours.
