Lean's Graphics Gallery: Star Wars Model Kit Comps

Alrighty, I made a full vector of a friend of mine but I'm still thinking if I'll post it here. She might find it weird to show the entire NLSC what I did.

Anyway, last Wednesday dawn I made the promotional poster (for nothing, as usual) of our thesis defense. Since my head is so blank because of being awake at dawn I came up with this design:

Resized for the love of 56k using IrfanView. The quality may have been reduced as well.



In which this concept was also implied almost a year ago for my brother's movie project:

That movie was submitted for the school's filmfest which apparently won best picture. I think the poster gave enough hype for it .

Indeed, that's my style when drawing wacky-cartoonistic-people. Without the nose. That's just how I draw things like that. If that's the case, Cool2Fool, Shin-Chan should also look awkward to you.

...and I thought of making a pic for a friend (and my target ) that is based on the ad above, and after I made the first (and second) image I was swarmed with requests from others and asked if I could do the same on their photos. So I present to you, the new Power Rangers, in order of whose face was made first:











Though I didn't quite make it look exactly like the vectored stills in the ad. And to protect the identities of the girls, I won't post the real photos.

Thanks guys. But now, only just now, I noticed that the left arm of the girl in the first pic is off the border. Silly me.

I think I got them all look like themselves except for girl number 5. It's just that you can't do that kind of art with dimpled people.

Great graphics there! Really like your ideas - e.g. your logo and all those stuff.
