Colin McRae Rally 3 problems

Yesterday I borrowed CMR 3 of a friend, and happy as I was I install the game directly when I came home. Anyway, everything worked fine in the menu, untill I was gonna race, then I see about ½s ec of the game and then it crashes and I come to the desktop.

I have updated to v1.1 but I needed some "files" :roll:

before I can run it (which I'm downloading right now).

I don't think it will work anyways, so please somebody help.
I have Windows XP PRO if that's an issue.

Ahh f!ck!, the new "file" :roll:

did work but the game still crashes!

Yesterday I found at that my friend didn't install from the same disc I did, so I borrowed, the ones he installed from. But unfourtnaly it didn't help jack shit.

Ah, f!ck it..I'm going back do Colin McRae 2.0 instead. Just have to find someone with the cd
