Cannot load Dynasty

I just played my dynasty last night and it worked fine. This morning I tried to load my dynasty and it wont let me; its not even listed as a dynasty anymore under the category and the date for last accessed is like 60209292/9282476 or something to that degree. I havent downloaded any patches or anything recently... anyway I can fix it?

It doesn't sound too good. Do you happen to have a backup of it at all? If so, restoring from the backup is probably your best bet.

You can also try saving a new Dynasty and then copying the files from your old save folder across to the new one and see if you can load it then. Otherwise you might be out of luck.

Alright thanks Andrew. Is there any reason why this happened? Just so I know not to do it again.

Usually it happens if you're modding your Dynasty and something goes wrong. It's unusual that an error like that would occur without the files being touched, if you didn't do anything with them then it's difficult to say what caused it and how you could avoid it.

However, I would certainly recommend making a habit of saving your Dynasty in two slots in case anything happens to one of them.
