I enjoyed driving to time square where i work....looks just like it except there are different businesses there. Maybe i should visit rockstar sometime.....definitly a plus being in the greatest city. :)

It's realistic though, you've got to give it that.

hmm at first I thought it was but then when you get to the next town, you can barely see regular cars and all yellow cars lining up next to each other every side of the road....

Is the next part of the city representing Manhattan? If so, an obscene amount of taxis wouldn't be too much of a stretch from what I saw last year.

interesting I didn't know NY is like that :)

Something fun you could try is calling 911 on a mission that has lots of enemies and get some assistance from the police hehe...

It's like that ALL the time, Andrew. Traffic in Manhattan is worse than I can remember. With all the construction and street repairs going on, I rarely drive into the city. In fact, it's been years since I've done it. Unless it's late at night, and I'm going to a club, mass transit is my friend.

I've read San Andreas is bigger than LC'08, but not as detailed. Of course it'll take us longer to get the hang of the map. You have to do it in bits and pieces. Searching for weapons and points-of-interest has helped a lot. I can find the armor, pistol & SMG without using GPS.

i mean the city itself is bigger than any other city. learning gtasa i found easier cause it was a bunch of smaller sections, and was more of a grid like layout. anyway i like the city

as for game completion, is it just me or is it faster to get to 100%? this game seems to be over quicker than the other games, mainly gtasa in which i put in like 30 hours of just doing random side things. seems they kinda gutted alot of the single player parts to make room for multi. now if they could only get the multi working properly lol

Many gamers complained about SA's side missions(working out, dating, etc.) being boring. I didn't mind them, but Rockstar listened to the majority.

Algonquin will be easier to learn, since it's based on Manhattan's grid system. The difference is lower Algonquin is nowhere near as jumbled as lower Manhattan.

Any unlucky person bricked their Blue-ray because of GTAIV yet??
I had several freezing and had to turn off my ps3 but not like the problem majority people had since they had the game. It freezes and won't load anymore game and sadly they have to send their ps3 for repairs thanks to GTAIV!!!!!

now i'm scared to play it again  almost everyone who reply on that thread had the same issue with their blu-ray no longer reading disk...

Wow. I thought the 360 was the one having problems. I have the 360 and got one random freeze when I attempted to change the radio channels while making a quick turn being pursued by about 5 cop cars. Only time it's happened.

I read that if you unplug your ps3 from the internet, it could fix the problem-

Sam keeps inviting me to the free roam multiplayer game. it's fun for like a minute before you get bored with no goals to achieve.

The other night I was playing online with my friend, and the game froze when I respawned after being killed. So I shut my PS3 off and turned it back on again, this time when the game loaded it froze when I brought up the cell phone to get back into multiplayer.

So once again I turned it off and back on again, this time though it would get to the black screen where it says its loading but wouldn't load (game wasn't frozen since when I hit the PS button it would take me to the menu that pops up). It was like 12 30 in the morning and I had work the next day so I gave up for the time being.

The next day when I got home decided to give it one last shot or else I'd have to delete the save file and start all over, anyway it loaded just fine, thank god lol. I'm glad I didn't have the same issue as some other people

Yep. Got the short end of the stick. Not as bad as I thought though. Four hours logged, and two freezes, both within the span of 15 minutes.

Hope a patch is released for us.
