Honestly after playing GTA San Andreas for the first time through, everything was a breeze. I remember flight school and bike school taking me forever, but now I just sit down and breeze through everything in a matter of 15 minutes. Really looking forward to GTA IV, hopefully I'll be able to have enough money to get at least a used 360.

Another benefit of PC gaming, the ease of sharing saved files.

Ricky Gervais will make a cameo in GTA4, in the new comedy club activity. But he will also appear somewhere else in the game.

I'm a big, big fan, and it's making me all the more excited to get my hands on this game.

ixcuincle, no wonder you can't fly. You can't even drive. Stay in your lane, don't drive over sidewalks, don't make a turn and end up in the opposite lane.
I do remember the flying training being a pain. It was actually really easy, but as soon as you panic, your just going to be over adjusting for every ring and once you miss one, you'll be frustrated.

I guess it must be playing on the keyboard on PC. I never passed any of the schools either.

I'm not a huge Gervais fan, nor a Phil Collins fan for that matter but the celebrity cameos are pretty cool.

have they released the full sound track yet?
Mon Apr 21, 2008 11:03 am
There's a
listing on Wikipedia, though it could be incomplete and/or inaccurate.
Mon Apr 21, 2008 12:51 pm
thanks for the link, i really hope they improve on that list otherwise i will be seriously disapointed, specially after the last 2 games had such good sound tracks

Another benefit of the PC versions, the MP3 radio station.
Tue Apr 22, 2008 4:23 am
A lot of the reviewers have said that it's the best GTA soundtrack to date, so that bodes well.
What I don't quite like is that the PS3 version won't feature the good old MP3 station though, because no matter how big (Within reasonable limits) the soundtrack is, it will eventually get repetitive.. (I'm hoping that we'll be able to do it with an update)
Awesome

I wonder what other comedy acts are in the game..
Tue Apr 22, 2008 6:25 am
wait... so the list Andrew posted won't apply to the PS3 version? that would be silly, especially since there's all that space on the blu-ray disc.
Tue Apr 22, 2008 7:31 am
No, the soundtrack is the same. I meant the (additional) MP3 'radio station', that plays MP3's from the consoles harddrive..
Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:01 am
No reason the Xbox 360 version shouldn't support it either, seeing as though you can rip music to the hard drive.
Tue Apr 22, 2008 11:56 am
my only problem so far is that i didnt see any songs i actually liked but then again it only listed a very few. seems overall though there is only 2 stations i would even have on.
Tue Apr 22, 2008 12:25 pm
The radio tends to fade into the background for me on missions, but while you're just driving around exploring it jumps back into the foreground.
Tue Apr 22, 2008 10:03 pm
No classical , but I guess the Jazz and Disco networks are good enough.

The 360 version has the ability to do that tho
Now this is sad:
Jack Thompson scribes a letter to Take-Two Chairman’s Mother

I thought Take Two and Jack Thompson had reached a settlement that prevented him from pulling stunts like this. Such a pompous individual.
Good news on the Xbox 360 front. With the downloadable content, seems the main knock on the Xbox 360 version is the console itself, more specifically the Red Rings of Death.

this guy is a fucking idiot
Fri Apr 25, 2008 12:12 pm
ah the ps3 has the ability to do that but unfortuanately you cant access the cross media bar during a game so you can't listen to music during the game.

I have played all instalments of GTA readily available here, and i can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that i have practically never killed anyone, certainly not innocent bystanders. Well, certainly not bystanders.
Is anybody going to an exclusive midnight launch for this game? My local EB is opening at 10 p.m. on monday and staying open til 1 or 2 to sell the game.
Fri Apr 25, 2008 12:36 pm
I'm gonna pick it up at midnight here, but im not gonna be able to actually get into it till the weekend because i have fucking school.
Fri Apr 25, 2008 3:42 pm
Who is Jack Thompson?
Sat Apr 26, 2008 7:16 am
The network G4 is offering a worldwide exclusive look at GTA IV gameplay 12 pm EST on Sunday.
