Player introductions

Okay, so pardon me for asking instead of just trying it myself, but I'm at work so that's not really an option, and the question is burning in my mind.

There are player introductions (at least in home games?) in NBA 2k8, right? I could have sworn I had seen them before, but I haven't in ages. And it just occurred to me that I have cutscenes and such turned off, would that also disable the player introductions?

Uhm...Ive never seen a player introduction in the game myself. THe announcer is always like and now with the T-Mobile starting lineups. BUt, it never actually does a formal introduction..

I'm probably wrong, but I think there are intros in the playoffs. Not sure though since I haven't played 2K8 in a long time.

I have never seen player introductions in 2k8 either. It would have been cool to watch a few times, but I'm sure I would have just skipped it later to start the game.

What I would really like is if these game companies came up with several different intros that could randomize the intro animations, the announcer style, and the music. An enhanced intro for the playoffs and finals would really be immersive, also.

Unfortunately no intruduction. But that'd be extremly cool for 2k9 (If there will be one).

nba2k9 should put player introductions live has it but it goes quick if 2k does it. it should be sweet
