yes you can take screenshots in madden, just press f1,
the screenshots will appear in teh screenshots folder in the madden folder, which is in my documents

red. i blocked a fg once though i didn't do anything. i just tried rushing my nose tackle through as usual, and a player from behind him broke through somehow and jumped up and blocked it. i think it was clark haggans that did it.

i don´t know if it has ever been brought up. in madden 04 when i scramble with the qb and the defense catches up with me i cannot do the quarterback dive (that one with legs first). in madden 03 i just had to push the dive button without pushing a direction and the qb would do that qb-dive. but in madden04 he´s always diving forward like trying to extend for a first down or something. but he does in every situation, even if the 1st down or endzone is miles away and i´m pusing nothing but the dive button. is that a bug? has anayone else noticed that? any help is welcome cause i´m playing franchise and fumbles are costly. thanx

smithy, the slide doesn't work in madden 2004, there have been some people that claimed that they had it work once or maybe twice, but that they couldn't consistently dive. the way to do it was supposedly, let go of the d-pad(or stick) right before you get ready to slide, as you let it go, tap the button softly. this is how some said they did it but again most only had it happen once. ea also chose not to fix this in the first patch, so it might not get fixed. head for as close to the sidelines as you can get when you scramble, and just run out of bounds, or at least when you dive if you fumble it may roll out. i've lost lots of fumbles because of that dang dive.

thank you buddy. glad to hear that at least it´s not my fault. but i don´t know why they didn´t put it in or actually have put it out. i just started a steelers franchise and signed brad banks out of free agents. i was excited because he´s a great rushing qb and i wanted to develop him into a star. in the 1st qtr of the 1st game he got injured because he was stuffed on a scramble. and that made me mad ´cause i already had the first down and was ready to go down but you can´t. lot of fumbles, lot of injuries because of that missing qb-dive. but if you look into the manual it´s said to be in the game. :cry:

sphinx, i just won it on all-madden in season 2010 after switching from all pro halfway through the season, 15 min, accel clock on, with sliders bumped up a bit past default for both human and cpu.

the biggst pro this year is definitly the owner mode i think. it is really cool.
although it is hard to keep a good team with the salary cap and all.....

Does anyone else find that's it's almost impossible to keep a lead against a decent team in the 2nd half. This has happened to me against the Bucs, Saints, Ravens and Eagles. I'm choosing throws to wide open people and they just drop the ball, or a defender comes out of nowhere for an interception, whereas even if it's a crap QB throwing to an even crappier WR with 3 man coverage he still catches it. In all of those games mentioned I was leading by scores like 21-0, 28-10, even 28-0 against the Eagles. Yet They end up winning by at least 10 everytime. I just get fed up with the uttern "NBA Live" like heroics and quit. Anybody else find this?

Turn both interception sliders down. Donts worry though, there will still be 0-2 interceptions in a game

i use passing plays that go toward the sideline and tend to give some space between the wr and defender to throw the ball, and dump off to my hb when i need to. but mostly just use plays that get my wr running away from the defender.

are madden cards in the pc version, if so does it involve online play and shit, cuz i read somewhere about getting madden cards for completing certain things, and when i do that, nothing happens lol.

I was just using my Falcons (default plus me as WR at 93 overall) against the Eagles in Franchise and I forced a punt on first drive, scored a TD, fumble return for TD off kickoff, then I got another fumble to the 9 yard line after a kickoff, and long story short it's 48-14 (I blitzed on 3rd and inches plays and they threw it for both TD's) and the game just quits. Back to the desktop. At least I saved at halftime because I had to eat some dinner. I'm still pissed though. :furious:

you could check over at maddenmania.com or football-gaming.com and do a search for posts on custom art. there's some out there somewhere. as for the desktop crash it is a bug, there is no official fix but some people have found files on their system that conflicted with madden and was causing it to happen.

oh, and to be safe you all might want to either save your franchises as two seperate files, or copy the saved file and save it in another folder elsewhere on your hd. there is also a problem with saved files locking up because of the desktop crash, so that your franchise won't load again after you reboot and everything. just a heads up.

I loaded the game and won, but this time only by 3. Tense game, their FG to tie it at the end of the game bounced off the horizontol crossbar.

After that I beat the Giants by 10, and found out I have 8 players in the pro bowl (On the Falcons: Mike Vick, Peerless Price, J something Griffith, Colin (ME!!!), Alge Crumpler, Keith Brooking, Tyron Williams(Tyrone?), and Keion Carpenter I believe) I'm 7-2.
