FREE AGENT SIGNING NEWS

October 4

Oakland,CA--Today the Golden State Warriors Head Coach Don Nelson has announced that they have signed the free agent Zoran Planinic for
1year league minimum. In the course of his career, the 6-7 framer has averaged 3.8 ppg,1.3 reb and 1.1 ast. He will bring some energy in the frontcourt but, he needs to gain some weight. It is unusual to see a 6-7 frame man to have only 200 Lbs. The Warriors will have a lot of work to do with the Croatian. Planinic said he is happy to sign a contract with the Warriors, because he will become a teammate of a man who speaks the same language as he does, Kosta Perovic. We will see in the next charity GSW game if Planinic is the good choice of Don nelson

Isn´t he actually a guard? I think he played even point guard in EC(European Championship or what it is called) last year. Well, great signing still...

I think you should learn gramma, or atleast try to write clearly. Use spaces where needed and so, it isn't attractive. Put some design in and come up with brilliant ideas and stuff.

Slam dunk contest preparations

October 5/Practice court/9:00/

It was 9:00. Warriors GM Chris Mullin was shooting threes and talking with their Shooting coach Mitch Ritchmond. They were talking about the heading season. "I think Monta will have an All-star season this year" said Mitch Richmond while making his 5 straight three.
"Yes he has all the potential but he looses the ball a lot. We will have to work on that in training camp" replied Mullin.
"Wait a minute Chris, we still have the SDC and some games before the camp. Still can't bellieve why Nelson put the games before the training camp" Richmond said while rolling his 10 straight three.

"haha Zoran you owe me 50 bucks, told ya I was faster than you" Barnes was talking proudly
"OK, OK you'll get it dude"

Then the rest of the team started coming.....

"OK guys the contenders for the contest are Baron, Monta, Brandan, Mickael and Kellena" said Don Nelson
"I ain't in there...why?" Said Harrington
"We have other plans for you Al" Said Nelson

After the "qualifications"

[i]" So after a lot of thinking I have decided everything that has to do with the SDC. Contestants are Monta, Baron, Mickael and Kellena. Commentators are Marv Albert and Greg Anthony. The "judge" commentator will be me. Then the judges are Me,Mullin, Richmond, just retired C-Webb and Carter.

[i]They have high expetations from you"
said Nelson
"Whoa Carter, im doing a honey dip"said Baron
"Man the only thing you're gonna do is a honey slip"-Said Ellis
Then the whole team laughed out, but Baron made a clear point to himself
that he is goinna do the honey dip.

Slam Dunk Contest Part 1/6

October 7/Oracle Arena/20:00

"Hello and welcome to the 2007 charity slam dunk contest. There will be 4 contestants from the Golden State Warriors. Baron Davis, Monta Ellis, Mickael Pietrus and Kellena Azubuike" Marv Albert started.
Yes Marv they all have hoops but I bet on Baron. He has the most experience and already participated in the SDC. He is my favorite. Said Greg Anthony.
Thats just your opinion Greg, Monta will win this contest because he is the most explosive dunker in the Warriors.

So the fight between Greg and Marv continued. Don Nelson favorite was Mickael Pietrus. He said that he is the most powerful dunker in GSW and one of the strongest in NBA. The introduction part began. Kellena Azubuike made the "Birdman" imitation and made the fans laugh.

So the contest started. First was Baron.
Albert:"Here is Davis with his first ARGH!!!!"
Anthony:"LETS GO HOME!! LETS GO HOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN....LETS GO HOME" Anthony was excited.
Baron Davis just did a 360 windmill....The Oracle arena was on their feet. Other GSW players run on the court and were grabbing their heads. They couldn't believe what they just saw.
"Baron Davis with the score of 50" the pronouncer said.
"Told ya he's gonna win. Awww mama!! Said Anthony while jumping
in the air.
"Was that Baron?? What the..." coach Nelson couldn't believe it.

So that was Barons dunk. Next is Monta

" Whatever he does he can't better the dunk Baron did" Greg Anthony was saying confidently.
"True...Baron is amazing" Confirmed Marv.
"He is at the three point line. He is bouncing the ball of the glass. That might be interested.....He bounces it....jumps...Ufff" marv was Speechless
"I don't care what you say that isn't as good as Barons one"Greg said angrily.
"I didn't say it was, but a bounce-of-glass-reverse-windmill is impressive" Marv was defending himself.
THE SCORE--Mullin=9/Richmond=9/Carter=10/Nelson=9/Webber=9/Score =46

That was Ellis. Next is Pietrus

"I bet he has something huge" Said Nelson
"Good for him Don...good for him" replied Greg
"A balloon is coming. What is he going to do?. They are bringing the ladder. Puting the balloon on....12 feet!! What is he gonna do???
Ok he comes...Hits the balloon with his fist...booom...no balloon...he goes for a simple dunk...and makes it. That was impressive"
Marv was nodding his head.
Yes it was..told you Said Nelson
Somewhere between 40 to 45. I mean its nice, but you'll have to do better" Greg said
THE SCORE--Mullin=9/Richmond=8/Carter=9/Nelson=9/Webber=8/Score=42

That was Pietrus. Next is Kellena

"Still nothing even close as the Baron dunk" Greg was being a smarty
"We have all night for that Greg" replied Nelson
"So Greg what is your opinion on Kellena?" Marv asked
"He has a great leaping ability and has power in his dunking. He is also a good player Greg continued
"Here he comes. Just the ball and him...he goes..cocks it between his legs and does a nice reverse" Marv wasn't very impressed
"I was expecting more from him...a shame" said Greg
THE SCORE--Mullin=8/Richmond=8/Carter=9/Nelson=8/Webber=8/Score=41

My SDC got fucked up.I can't enter it. Don't know why but it wont enter it. So I can't finish my SDC.
NOTE: When i finished my first round, i remembered the finalists(Davis and Pietrus) and exit the SDC. Next time I turned the settings on 2 competitors and it crashes. So I guess preseason is next.

Games

1 one at Dallas

2 one at San Antonio

3 one you chose, just post your suggestions

Hello. In this section of my Dynasty I will inform you of the team progress. I will have columns like "the good guys" for the players who have been doing well lately. A section "the "serious" guys" for the players who have disappointed me with their recent performances and I will also write who is in danger of being traded or even released

Image
Kosta Perovic at press conference

So this is the first news. The news are that 20-year old Serbian center Kosta Perovic is assigned to the Development League. We hope that he will improve there because he hasn't develop his low-post game yet. He is also very skinny so we hope that he will gain weight and gain experience in the D-League. We wish him good luck.

THE GOOD GUYS

As I said before this section will be based on players that have suprised me with their performances or at practice or at the game night it self. The players who continently give big numbers will be considered team captains. Here is the first group.

Image
BARON DAVIS

Baron has suprised me in 1 on 1 practices. He has been playing with CJ and has proved a funny guy with his jokes.

Image
MONTA ELLIS

Monta is a very good player. He is also one of the quickest players in the NBA. He has great potential but he looses too many balls.

Image
MICKAEL PIETRUS

Mickael has proved he can fly and proved he can shoot. But i enjoy watching his dunks because he has so much power.

THE "SERIOUS" GUYS

This section will be based on players who are playing bad recently. Here I will write what I expect from the players and if they are in trade or release danger. I hope that as less possible players get into this section. But 2 players are already in here

Image
MARCO BELINELLI

I am really disappointed with the way Marco is performing. I thought he could really step up and hit threes but he can't. Even wide open he is missing. In trade and release danger.

Image
KELENNA AZUBUIKE

I really like Azubuike and I like the way he is playing in real life. But he has let me down and I am disappointed with his performance. In trade danger.

RUMORS

Image

There has been words that GSW could sign the young PG Orien Greene. Coach Nelson explained that Greene is the type of player they need for his Run 'n' Gun style. Good at threes and very quick.

Other rumors

-Chris Webber returning from retirement?
-Azubuike and Belinelli traded?

IT'S OFFICIAL

So what is official you surely ask yourself. There are 2 news so far. With both of them we think we can secure a playoff spot in the crowded west.

Today the Golden State Warriors have announced the singing of young PG Orien Greene. He is expected to help the team with his quick moves. He has all it needs to be a good PG in the NBA. We just need to improve his shooting selection. A great potential is hidden in him. He will be a quality backup to Baron Davis.
Image
Orien Greene is expected to make a good contribution to the team

That's not it. There has been a rumor that C-Webb is returning from his retirement. That is true. He has just signed a contract with the team. Al Harington now has serious competition. C-Webb has had a terrific career so far. The 5 time All-NBA team player is willing to play and make a good contribution for the team. That is expected from him.

I really like Webber back in the Sacramento days, too bad his comeback bid in the NBA never worked out..

Anyways your team is stronger with the addition of C-Webb since he is quite good in NBA Live.

TRADE OFFER

It was early in the morning while coach Nelson was thinking about the season. Tomorrow is the first test for the team as the play at Dallas. He is thinking about possible changes and what he might do. Earlier that day GSW GM Chris Mullin said that they need to clear up some sallary cap. He is opening his email and he sees an unread message. The message was a trade offer.
Dear Mr. Nelson I would like to offer you services of R.Sessions and D.Noel for K.Azubuike and M.Belinelli. We expect you to answer later today or give us a call. Milwakee Bucks office."

"Hmm, that is not a bad offer, I don't need to resign Noel and Sessions just dished 24 assists and is a promising prospect"-Nelson thought

He rushed out of his office and went down to Mullin's office.
"Chris you wouldn't believe what kind of an offer the Bucks just send us"-Said Nelson
"Huh what is it"-Said Mullin while hiding some weird magazine...
"They offered us Ramon Sessions and David Noel for Azubuike and Belinelli"
"Have you lot your mind, we just drafted Marco and Kelenna is a promising player. Yes Sessions is a good 1 and 2 but we are already crowded at that spots"-Said Mullin while looking at that weird magazine.
"Look Chris, you said that we need to clear up some Cap Room and now is the perfect opportunity to do so"-Said Nelson while hitting the table with his fist.
"Yes I know I said that, but look this.Azubuike 4M,Belinelli 3M,Sessions 2M,Noel 1M. It doesn't helps us much"
"Look we can Have Baron at 1, Ellis at 2, Jackson at 3, Webber and Harington at 4 and Biedrins at 5 and still have an great backup for each position if we make this deal. Sessions and Greene 1 and 2, Barnes and Pietrus at 3, Wright at 4 and O'Bryant at 5"-Nelson explained himself
"True...and Sessions does fit in your Run 'n Gun style"-Confirmed Chris.
"Yes I have to run now, I will come back in 5 mins so we can call the Bucks-said Nelson as he rushed out of the office
"Hmm I wonder should we accept the deal"-Said Chris while looking at that weird magazine......

10 minutes later...

"Hey Chris, have you made your decision"-Nelson asked
"Yes, call them"
beep...beep
"Hello, Larry Krystkowiak speaking
"Hello Larry its Chris Mullin. We have decided to........

TO......BE CONTINUED

Tough to call, but my guess is that you didn’t pull the trigger on that trade... I think you’ll lose some depth if you trade them especially Azubuike..
