Tony Robbins...

Postby Stevan on Wed Oct 22, 2003 12:14 am

(before I start, a feeling of De Ja Vu has over come me.... have I infact made fun of Mr. Robbins before?)

Does this guy not shit everyone out there? I will forever remember hims as "the guy with the teeth" as Jayson Williams referred to him.
Who the fark needs gloves to go up on stage and motivate people. He gets all excited, what is he going to do, break dance?
The only credit I can give him is that he's running a scam and obviously doing a good job, because every time I switch on the TV after about 2 am, there he is, waving his arms and flashing his 'Mr. Ed' teeth at me. Yes muthafucka, I know, you have healthy teeth and gums. The public is so blinded by the gleam from his teeth, they close their eyes and actually listen to him, therefore allowing the brainwashing to begin. It's a beautiful scam.

Just had to vent a little and poke fun at the guy.

So next time you turn on your tv, and there he is smiling like he just got a head job backstage, and wearing them gloves, and probably some nasty looking elbow pads and breaking a sweat from talking, do yourself a favour, and change the channel to "Saved by the Bell" reruns, because they are less cheesy than this guy.

Tony Robbins was in the only funny scene in Shallow Hal.

Tony Robbins: Have you ever heard the phrase "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder"?
Jason Alexander: Have you ever heard the phrase "Who let the dogs out?"

And no, it wasn't that funny. I don't admit to wasting money very often, but renting Shallow Hal truly was a waste of money.

I've seen it advertised in the TV guide, and I've probably watched it, one of those times when I came home late from a club and couldn't sleep from the buzz :D Seriously, how hard would it be to replace this bullshit with some NBA coverage? Bastards

LOL I forgot he was in Shallow Hal, and yes it was an average movie. There's NO WAY he'd go for the fat chick once he found out she had more rolls than Allen Iverson.[/quote]

Glad to know I wasn't the only one who suffered through Shallow Hal. I'm guessing you were also drawn in by the one or two amusing scenes shown in the previews?

lol yeah something like that man... and then you watch it and the fat chick pretty much cancelled out Gwyneth Paltrow (who's not that good anyway), so all you're left with is a soppy Jack Black  .

The only part from that movie I really remember is when he's in the apartment with Jason Alexander and he disses him and then he waits then disses him back and Jason or Jack says "Hey man you can't make a comeback now, it's been 7 seconds."
