The Good News Thread

Other video games, TV shows, movies, general chit-chat...this is an all-purpose off-topic board where you can talk about anything that doesn't have its own dedicated section.

So Cal ain't bad for "talent" either. Note to self: do not go to Cincinnati.

Vegas doesn't count, because most of the top-quality is almost certainly a tourist. The locals are inbreds or mormons.

San Diego, Miami and surprinsingly Toronto just missed my list. The only problems with San Diego and Miami is you feel like you keep seeing the same girls over and over again.

In Miami it gets to the point where its like oh, another sexy ass latina, yeah I get it already, give me some variety.

San Diego isn't as bad as LA as far as blondes all over the place, but still too much orange skin and blonde hair for me there.

Toronto blew me away. I was shocked there were that many neck turning Canadiens. Winnippeg on the other hand would have probably been number 4 on my not-so-good list.

Milwaukee, Pittsburgh and Omaha, Nebraska were also in consideration for the lack of talent list.

So after five grueling years of college I present to you the constipated graduation pose:

Taken several hours ago, I still haven't got myself fixed then. Plus my head is too big for the hat. :|

I've finished my College Degree in Engineering  . So on to look for a job I go.

I just ate a really good peanut butter wafer.

Was this in fact good news worth posting on NLSC? Hardly. Was this post just spam to enlarge my e-penis post count after a long hiatus away from this website? Absolutely.

5 years of college sounds cool, so I jumped into it thinking I'd be an uber-genius after graduation.

Then the realization comes that 5 years spent in college means that one is dumb as a rock.

Some majors require you to be in school for 5 years. Engineers here usually take 5 years due to the courseload, and people at Northeastern all take at least 5 years due to a co-op in their sophomore fall and 4th year spring or something.

Same here. Irrelevant stuff such as Values Education and Philosophy extends the normal college span of 4 years.

I know it's 5 years in most engineering courses, I was referring to the realization that one could have taken a 4-year course or 2-year technical course to save time and just work immediately after.
Still, I'm in academe hell. Congrats to Lean for escaping it. (Y)

Values Education is damn important, learn you values. *slaps Lean*
Does it help you value education?
