Hot Spots for ps3

On my dynasty i drafted this pg and his 3pt shooting is on 90 but on his hot spots the threes are all blue. i have only made like 1 out of 20 threes with him and thats open shots. i was wondering is there anyway to change the hot spots somehow with messing with his stats or making more shots?
